I think it shows a change in Catra’s and Adora’s relationship, too!

The singer in “I Miss You” seems resigned to their fate and to longing for the other person without any chance of getting them back:

Whereas the singer in “I Really Wish I Hated You” has realized that the other person is a positive part of their life and wants them back:

Honestly some people from this fandom are always attacking the company so don't be so surprised...it happens more than often unfortunately. I think it's probably because now that Helena has Witch Queen's powers, she has so much magic she could do wonders in fantasy world, build and teach so much. However I understand why she prefers going back to Chicago: a fresh start where nobody knows what she did in the past and won't judge her because of it. We know she killed many people for WQ and she believes it is unfair for her to walk through the streets of fantasy world where there are people she hurt so much and could probably recognize her. I think her decision to go back to Chicago makes sense and it won't be forever, eventually she will go back to say hi to the others, but it takes time...If she needs to go away from that world and the scars it carries i totally respect that. I would have preferred Helena staying in fantasy world myself but I also understand this choice.

She’s allowed to go to another place and have a clean slate, hell I could see them moving to the country so she could practice her growth magic. Maybe even have a farm of some sorts.
