Omg. The bassline in The Giant is so fucking killer. Like, this started out as a song that wasn't my absolute favourite on the album, but that bassline has changed my mind. Because Holy fuck.

I've been pondering, but can't determine why the Studio54 music video has three different aspect ratios. There doesn't seem to be a specific pattern to the changes. I know he loves film so there has to be a reason. But I can't figure it out. I'm also a film nerd, and usually aspect ratio changes are used to evoke a change of emotions, making the viewer feel more claustrophobic or widspread. The shots at the table are all like 2.39? The yellow background stuff is usually 4:3 but also moved into standard at points. If it's purely aesthetic, they should have stuck to 4:3. But idk
Listening to Another Dimension loud in my headphones and the production is so fucking peak. I hear a new layer everytime I listen. TOP is such an artist. AOTY hands down. This man deserves so much more than being just a former BigBang member.

Arctic Monkeys demos / early recordings
This is a collection of known Arctic Monkeys demos and early recordings. These are the ones I could find, but please let me know if you find more.
Some of these went on to get re-recorded later on and put on the studio albums, and others never made it past the demo stage or were mainly played during their early live shows. The early demos were all recorded between 2003-2004.
The 2Fly demos was the first recordings they ever did, recorded with Alan Smyth in Sheffield in the summer of 2003. The band used to hand out burned CDs with demos at their gigs and those demos were then collected by fans/journalists and shared online. Beneath the Boardwalk is the unofficial collection of all of these studio demos and live recordings.
The Five Minutes With Arctic Monkeys are re-recorded demos and came out in 2005 with two new demos, different to both the ones on Beneath the Boardwalk and later the released versions on Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not.
I honestly don't know anything about the Favourite Worst Nightmare demos. But they're amazing!
There are truly some hidden gems in these, and I honestly love these demos so much. I hope you'll enjoy!

Rare Arctic Monkeys performances
This is a nerdy little collection of performances of songs that Iāve not seen a lot or simply find interesting. I adore finding all the little trivia and details for myself, so I thought others might like to see as well.
Maybe theyāre not allĀ āthat rareā but most were fairly new to me :))
** Iāll add more when I stumble upon it **
Here we go.
(I put it under Keep Reading because it was getting too long)
