Canoe

First of all thank you.  Thanks for listening to our record, thanks for coming to shows, thanks for supporting us in everything we do.  From the very bottom of our hearts, we are so very grateful for everything and anything you've ever done to help us.  We have big plans for the coming months, and we promise we won't stop working to make everyone who's ever supported us proud.  We'll be doing more posts like this, and plenty of videos and other stuff to keep updated.

Despite the fact ALL THESE DREAMS was released this past June, it has taken on new life to me now that the weather is changing.  Canoe said that this record was written at a tougher time for the band in a dark basement in the middle of a cold Buffalo winter, and you can feel the chill of the winter in every word.

The lyrics touch on relatable themes.  Fear of the future, clinging to the past, coping with loss, the eternal struggle of youth.  This album touches me in a place in my head space that I find myself in when the snow starts to fall and the days grow shorter.

For an album I was a sleeper on at the start, its found its way into my collection and my heart.  If you haven't given it a listen, your missing out.  If you have, spin it again.  Canoe has made something truly special.
