like yes, I have psoriatic arthritis which I take immunosuppressants for, and I experience medical complications from both the disease and the treatment. the only context I bring it up is in little personal posts every now and then, where I talk about issues I've had with doctors, or new medications I'm trying. I don't know what kind of brain can read a post about me struggling with my rheumatologist, and think "yes, this is juicy, I can use this in my mocking."

Firstly, these walking machines are currently clunky, super expensive, and quite clumsy. And while they may eventually be an option some conditions, like paraplegia or MS, these suits won’t actually fix anything for many disabled people. There are countless examples of disabled people that this exoskeleton won’t help. (Think fused joints, fatigue, pain, spasticity, extremely breakable bones, etc.)

Society would rather focus on a future where we're more convenient and don't use wheelchairs, instead of putting in the work to accommodate us now. Like we're a problem they want to ignore, instead of people with a right to be here.

Things are very difficult here — the cost of moving to the south is $1,000, and a single tent also costs $1,000, if we can even find a place in southern Gaza.
