I’m feeling homesick for a place I’ve never been to. I’m feeling lovesick for a love that I’m still finding. Waving like an echo. A heart that cries and yearns for you.

I need to reignite a certain fire inside of me. The afterglow has been haunting me for its attention. I need to heed to the labor that goes into maintaining this fire. The warmth of it will soon comfort me in its wake.

I’m proud of who you’re becoming even when I yearn for the person you used to be when you were with me.

It will never be the same anymore. It will be better.
