The Fastest Pikachu!

Hello and welcome to this little ask/rp blog for my Pokémon characters. My main characters at the helm are a Speedy Pikachu, and a God of Creation in a different world. However I do have other trainer characters along here that will be available to interact with as well, though they do not have icons due to them being more so OCs than anything. I need to get more icons for my trainer so that I can actually use him more. Hopefully soon, but that requires extra money that I don’t have, or time that I can’t get.

A barren road in Sinnoh that leads towards the next town over is where are setting is, an eccentric person seems to stand on the road by, a pendulum in their hand as it seemingly floats gently. Teal eyes cemented into its frame as they seem to... decode something that sparks within, geometric shapes popping out of the pendulum before there was a shift in their stance. A series of steps, from their right.

A small smile graces their features, seeing that this particular person was.. someone familiar but faded. Deep in memories old, perhaps they recall a human doing all sorts of things to achieve what they can’t. ...Or perhaps that was simply with the attire they wore, professional and hard working. An eerie sense of something long forgotten trickles into their mind before they turn to the other to greet them.

“My, that’s quite the scowl that you have there, you look as if you’re on a mission of some kind, though.. with that face it seems you’ve hit some sort of road block, either that or anger is prevalent.” The stranger says briefly before clasping their hands together, the pendulum they have dropping down and hanging from their closed hands.

The air here... it was arid and thick. The same kind that you would encounter in a desert, but something about this place was off putting. It was nowhere near any deserts, nor was it somewhere the ocean can overwhelm the senses. This place was strange and like a bewilderment to anyone’s sight. A trance of shapes, a stiff breeze that flowed as if guided. But what was more.. concerning was the very sky that was above. A void like sentence that seemed never ending, gently pulsing with shapes that can’t be comprehended. It was then, that something appeared in a flash of light, a figure, a humanoid shape.

“Pray tell, how did you manage to get here traveler? This space is something that isn’t accessible to most, but you manage to get here like nothing happened. Answer carefully, else you will meet wherever you’re from with a centrical force equal to that of a meteor crashing into the earth.” There was a moment of silence before the figure approached slowly, a pendulum swinging in their hand.

Hmmmm, well there’s a lot to unpack here. Let’s go with my favorite part of the Fandom. It’s a strange mix of loving the lore that people can bring up and take into consideration, to the amount of absolute creative works that people have made. I adore how people can be inspired through this medium to bring a brand new spark to something as open ended as Pokémon can be, with how its world is, to the brand new things that the canon offers.

Now, A Favorite Canon character? Oh boi, that’s a bit of a tough one due to how MANY there are. I’d have to just choose one from recent memory, from the anime actually: Dawn/Hikari. It’s a wonder I haven’t really gotten into her character before, but from what I remember from the show, I loved how Dawn was and being able to bring herself up. But then, that’s very loose from memory. It’s been so long since I’ve even tried to remember everything Pokémon.

I actually don’t have too many petpeeves about RPs, cause I know that there’s lots of styles of writing and sometimes they can clash. But there’s one I know that always bothers me when it comes up for me

And that’s just the fact that there are times where people don’t include important details from the previous post. While it can be a mistake at times, it makes it hard for me to properly have a response because there’s the character not acknowledging parts of a conversation, or even actions.

“Why? Wouldn’t you want to see what’s making all that ruckus when it keeps you up at night? Or see what’s hurting your head?”

“...Child, if that noise gets louder and louder each time you go see. I would not want to mess with something that could very well mean the end of existence.”

“You know... with how much there is with all this cold weather, I’m surprised there isn’t more ice types around!”

“Cause it reminds me of Mrs. Flake and how much she wanted the house to be really cold a lot. I’m surprised I’m not an ice type myself!”
