"You have nowhere to go now, you brat! Unlawful conduct, inappropriate action directed toward an officer, fleeing a crime scene; all of these charges and a hundred more can result in your head o-" Otto cuts himself off from threat-making as one of his tentacles slammed a command into his console. "Can result in imprisonment. No matter what you do now, your fate is in the palm of my hand!!"

First things first, ditching the hoodie for a seemingly different identity was a no-go. It's only getting in the way, so she pulls down the hood, crouching her figure down slightly.

"You seem so sure about your threats, but I don't think you really know what you're dealing with." She gave the illusion of bragging, like she was going to make a dash for it-

"However, I’m afraid it-" Of course, the smug disposal of pretenses gets caught in the scientist’s throat as she pulled out her "identification"; his joy steadily being replaced by a slight feeling of dread. Completely dumbfounded, Octavius slams his tentacle into the keyboard; sending his proxy at the troll as fast it could manage. Skidding to a stop at the entrance to the alleyway, Octavius extended the android’s tentacles completely; implanting two into the stone walls, elevating the proxy above.

Very very bad.

Looks like the spider-web outfit didn't mean nothing, this guy really meant business.

They were clearly faster than her, and clearly desperately trying to prove something by climbing up the fucking walls.

It was very obvious she needed to find a better way to evade, wings are a hard last resort if it even comes to that, so she should observe a bit more. His reactions were.. delayed; Not by much, but it was a common human error thing, so she might be able to make something out of that.

UNABLE TO GET GOOD ENOUGH PICTURE.

"Damn it all." Otto mutters quietly, quickly typing in a very methodic sequence of commands. In an instant, the odd hue of the console screen fades as the normal HUD of the proxy appears again. With an assured *CLACK!* the android’s gaze zooms in on the girl as she slowly lifts her hands.

SUSPECT IS UNARMED.

Managing to form some semblance of a smirk, Otto cautiously increased the android’s speed, hoping to close the distance between him and his would-be suspect.

"It does not matter why you’re here. You refused to show any kind of identification and tried to flee while I was preoccupied.” Octavius’ words were slow, spoken very deliberately; his voice deep and resounding despite the static-laden voice box.

"You want identification? Ok, hold on I got it okay? Stay riiiight there, don't move.-"

As soon as her sentence ended, she reaches her right hand into her pocket, mimicking digging around for a second and then pulling it out very quickly.

But before she can even utter a 'fuck you' she bolted, skidding around a corner as fast as she could. She was fully prepared to break out her 'emergency escape method', well, not exactly fully prepared, but prepared enough to know when she needed to.

And from what she's seen from tighty-pants, she's sure she might just need to, that or manage to get away long enough to ditch the hoodie and let down her hair. That seemed like a better plan.

Sifting through the papers and ID’s of random citizens, despite its negative connotations, had become rather commonplace. Nearly everywhere he sent his abettors, this occurred. “I am merely running you through a criminal database.” he said coldly, as a paranoid looking man took umbrage with Otto’s work.

It certainly had a calming effect on the pilot, to be sure. 

However, as he scanned paper after paper, each person’s information displayed on the screen with a flash, Otto’s gaze finally fell upon the outlier. Simply standing in the middle of the street. Staring.

"Run the face through." the doctor muttered, as his metal limb clacked against the keyboard.

NO MATCH FOUND.

"Citizens! The Authorities will be here very shortly, do not leave the premises, lest you be charged with fleeing a crime scene." Even as worry crept up his body, Octavius’ tone still held an inordinate amount of hubris. 

If that wasn't enough to get her heart racing, the booming voice practically scolding her did, apparently there was some different form of law in NYC. Fucking northerners.

Run or stay run or stay... How about back up just a little, maybe one step, just to prove shes uncomfortable?

"L-Look sir, I don't know you or how things work here and I'm honestly just here for business. If you'd be so kind I'd prefer if you directed me to the nearest restaurant so I can get my afternoon started WITHOUT trouble." She gives her, 'obviously worried but not enough to be nice' spiel to the odd voiced being approaching her.

Each time they took a.. strange sounding step towards her, she inched backwards, keeping her head down a little more than she was before, enough to hide her face. God knows what the supposed authority would do when they see something with yellow eyes and horns, most people point and shoot before thinking 'hey! its 20'something, there's bound to be weird shit!' right? Yeah.

     ”This is absolutely infuriating.” Octavius sighed heavily, his tone conveying everything but fury. “I suppose this is ironic, in a sense. Switching the pace and finding it utterly banal.”

Using a stray tentacle to input a handful of commands, he pulled the android to a perch and set it to survey a sparse number of civilians. “Quantity of bodies: Around seven. One outlier. Unable to focus in on the faces.” The pilot remarks coldly; he inputs another command forcing the android of its post, letting it land with a massive crash.

She knew the city was common for its strange happenings, but a random dude in a full spider web spandex suit? Asking for everyone to come around him? It honestly just sounds like a street act. A very very unfunny one at that.

But.. all the people lazily gathering around him and rifling through their bags didn't help her suspicions. This guy meant business. Or it was some sort of elaborate flash mob. Seems kinda small for one though; maybe she should stop doubting reality.

After a moment of thought she realizes: She's standing alone. In the middle of the street, obviously sticking out like a sore thumb with her pale-ass skin and orange eyes under a black hoodie while everyone else hands their papers to this dude. If her appearance didn't spell 'criminal' to someone then fuck, what will? 

However, his look of curiosity quickly changes to a look of scrutiny and confusion, as it so often does. 'And there it goes again. Cold and blatant reason with a splash of sarcasm exchanged for nervous dancing….' Slowly raising a hand to his chin, the little man’s eyes narrowed.

"Alrighty."

"First things first, trolls cant even give birth."

"Second of all, because of that statement I'm seriously wondering why I even let you in my house." Of course you were kidding but you had a burning rage in your chest right now that was probably temporary but jesus fucking christ.

"And third of all, I've given up on trying to hint to you whats happening. So you know what? I don't care anymore. I randomly got horny and you can't seem to notice that." You lay out your blunt words with great force.

"Now before you scrunch your face up like a confused puppy please just take a moment to let my words sink in, and keep in mind that I'm a bit frustrated mentally and sexually so I don't really feel like dealing with shit right now."

"And if you'll excuse me. I'm off to the bathroom." You sit up, pillow still clutched to your crotch as you waddle away, not even looking back at him.

Oh good god. This isn't gonna be fun.

"I was not watching porn, that would be kinda dumb for me to just watch it down here, when you're still awake, in the middle of the day. That's just asking for trouble." You sigh, shifting in your seat to look over at him.

He couldn’t help but let his face fall a bit, a tiny frown appearing in place of pained expressions. “I’ll keep it clean.” he whispers to himself, casting his gaze to the bowl of sludge betwixt his legs. Raising his hand up, he absentmindedly rubbed his blackened fingers together. “The foul smell makes it obvious, doesn’t it?”      ’Well, I had thought it needn’t be clarified.’ a familiar presence remarked. “It’s been obvious what it was, but I’m curious as to how this is my body’s first instinct.” He wipes the slime off on his olive jacket. “I had thought that was your job.”

Without any warning she takes the hand she recently bandaged up, gently unwrapping it so she could apply the gel.

"This might hurt a bit.." She whispers as she squeezes a big glob of it onto the irritated skin around his wrist, gently rubbing it around before wrapping his hand back up. She was sure that there weren't any more places that he had been burned too badly, and if so it would probably be a waste to use the gel on them, so far the one on his hand seemed to be the worst so that should do for now.

Or not, probably better to ask just in case. She doesn't want him to be in pain right?

"Uh.. It was just ..on mute! Duh!" You retort, tensing up once you noticed him look over too you.

"I'm fine! Why do you think somethings wrong? nothings wrong..."
