pets might be illegal in the beastars world, especially since there are domesticated animals in the world (like legoshi’s dog friends (i don’t know his name) and the many, many domesticated cats, as well as the typical rodent pets)

in a similar vein, what about the ocean life? since there are birds walking around (like the eagle in the drama club), wouldn’t there be some kinda water-related animals, even if its just amphibians?

it has come to my attention that i have forgtoteen that manga exists and this series is longer than what’s on netflix. thanks to all who helped out! can’t wait to read/watch (haven’t decided) the aquatic parts

however the bug as pets? like why arn’t they anthropormorphized? like that’d be terrifying but like imagine just stepping on an ant hill and hearing the sad screams of the ruined city you just stepped on. Though it wouldn’t be as terrifying since, as the animals are generally the proportionate to the human world animals, they’d be like super tiny. but imagine waking up one night and seeing a man-shaped spider man crawling on your ceiling or eating outside and a few ants come up and steal some crumbs like

actually that’d be kinda funny but that’s putting the usual bug scenarios from our world into the beastars world so there’d probably be a bug society
