She nodded, noticing his actions. “And you two have figured everything out already?” She questioned, running her fingers down his palms. “The last thing we need is this going horribly wrong.” 

Steve laughed, "I think Bucky and I can handle can handle this without incident but that's why you're here-- To cover the 'what ifs' just like you always do." He took her hand to kiss her knuckles, "Bucky is mapping the town as we speak, we'll be ready."

Her gaze was stern, but she nodded at him. Not wanting to argue so soon after her arrival. “Then what do I need to do?”

He stepped away from her long enough to lay his things on the desk before them. "I need you for extraction and surveillance--" He touched her face, brushing her hair from her face in a moment of tenderness, "You'll be our oracle-- And when and if we need you, our way out."

She rolled her eyes. “It’d be easier just to kill them. Then there wouldn’t be a monster problem at all.”

"Sharon--" He warned but it was fond, "That's not the answer to everything."

"Are we negotiating or fighting?" She retorted, already worried about the action him and Bucky had taken. 

"Negotiating--" He said with a knowing smirk, "But it will most likely end in fighting. You know how well diplomacy works with monsters."
