Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires - Perhaps our new favourite hood. It’s been an amazing few days. The nicest folks, food, vino and eclectic characterful spaces. It’s the best blend of Argentinian hospitality, Lower East, early Shoreditch and interspaced with original occupants / businesses. Completely walkable and so safe. Special mention to Franca, Fogon, Mengano, La Alacena Pastificio, Chori, CoChinChina and Ja! The most welcoming wine shop we have ever been to. We will be back! #buenosaires #palermosoho

Franca | Tomato, Crudo and Wagyu Rib were fantastic. Rutini Altamira Merlot was yet another winner from the Uco Valley - unique and so terroir-driven; smoky, savoury and w fine tannin structure. Sibling restaurant to Julia #woodfire #ucovalley

Whalers’ Bay, Deception Island | 30 Dec - Deception Island is a horseshoe shaped island with an ocean filled caldera in the middle. First flights to Antarctica landed here; the hanger is pictured but in disrepair. Short but in parts steep hike to the top of the ridge. Last pic shows two Chin-strap Penguins which greeted us when we landed 🐧 #antarctica #penguins
