drew a bunch of reaction images while the comic was continuously updating so these were drawn rlly quick and kinda bad but it’s funnier this way I think lol
Spoilers for the new update below!! Also go check out @myth-of-the-machine !!
do you ever plan to finish the interview game you released for April fools?
hi! I do actually plan to finish it, it’s just that i’ve been pretty busy, and was honestly out of the fandom for a little bit 😅
Rest assured, there is an actual (non April fools) build in the works! I might release a proper demo sometimes this year? that is if i can get it to properly work…
But! Whenever the demo does come out, I’ll post it both here and at the new side blog for Miss Kimiko herself, @instructor-inbox ! In the meantime, i do hope to make some more Miss Kimiko content (particularly comic related story stuff), and almost everything here should be have been reblogged there as well!
yes would love to write for Hunter!! had a bit of a jumpscare refreshing myself on her stuff bc I forgot she’s british 💔 /j
[start of recording]
“Oh yes, the feral one, right?…Don’t tell her I said that.”
There’s an almost audible flinch as she considers her words, before the wheels of her chair roll and clatter to the nearby filing cabinet, the drawer squeaking as she picks out the file she wants. She rolls back, the file being tossed onto the desk before she herself reaches it, the manila folder sliding smoothly to a stop across the desktop.
“Hunter is one of those few who I personally sort into their own category, to put it kindly. She is…what is the saying? ‘In it for the love of the game’, with the game being the fairly brutal murder of others.”
She turns through the pages of the files slowly, the capped end of a pen dragging along the paper at certain points, and tapping at others. There’s a slight pause on a certain page, before the slow popping of her knuckles, one by one, reverberates throughout the room, and she sighs.
“Now, I am in no place to judge others’ personal life preferences, history, or any other personal details. However, one detail I have noticed is that there seems to be a correlation between the interviewers going missing, and the interviewee’s, er, personal preference of meat? Frankly, I have more of an issue with the missing interviewers, but I am not paid enough to investigate myself. Unless I am forced to.”
She then turns through the other pages, her pen continuing to tap and drag along the pages as before.
“That aside, I personally have no other issues with her in particular. As a mercenary, she does a fair job - quick, brutal, and even able to fit in certain areas other mercenaries are unable to. Much as she was hired to do.”
The file is closed, with the pen being placed elsewhere on the desk top, as she is heard sliding back to the cabinet and returning the file to its place. She pauses, as if only just realizing the device is still recording, and lets oh an amused huff.
“What, expecting me to talk about her girlfriend? - or whatever you would call it in english - like I said before, personal matters are of no concern to me or my contract work. As long as it remains so, that will be the case.”

look at me, I actually have a decent blog for an oc.
🗄️ for the entomologist? @entomologisttf2
(Yes she did kill her missing husband)
woah excuse me for taking a while! just finished finals and moved out haha, sorry for the wait, but here it is! love a lady with a mysteriously disappeared husband!
[start of recording]
"Entomologist, yes? Hmm...right, one moment."
The usual rolling of plastic wheels and the metal file cabinets echoes through the room as she retrieves the respective file, the rolling getting closer to the recording device as she returns with it. The file is placed onto her desk with a quiet smack, the pages between the file stock fluttering quietly.
"Oh yes, I remember this one. Occasionally, there are those few applicants who apply for this company out of the blue, with seemingly no prior experience in...should I say, similar fields?"
She flips through one or two pages, seemingly skimming over the file once more, as if unsure of her memory.
"Certainly odd, yes, but I am certainly in no place to judge. They wish to work here, and that is their decision."
She continues to turn pages, the sound getting lighter and lighter, until she is seemingly on the last page of paper within the file.
"As for her missing husband...well, it happened before she was employed by the company, and therefore there is no need for an investigation to be held on the company's end. I give her my condolences."
A faint chuckle can be heard, the source of her voice turned away from the recording device, and her tone very much contrasting her words.
"Oh, how truly a tragedy it is to lose one's husband."
"Hello mages, good to meet you all - even if it is not in person. I have two questions for you all, actually.
The first question I have is if you have anyone you would consider a 'rival', or perhaps hold a grudge against within Mann Co.
The second question - perhaps an easier one to answer at that - is about magic. I personally am not well versed in anything magic (and personally less so interested after being informed about the man calling himself Merasmus), but I've noticed one of you uses various different equipment, while the other simply uses a staff. Is there any particular reason behind these differences?"
uhhh writing for miss kimiko bc i realized i've just been posting all this to a discord server haha
tw - mild cursing and murder? but like two curse words and not directed at anyone hehe
also writing is loosely based on this art i did of her haha
Heavy footsteps pounded against the asphalt outside the bar, barely overshadowed by the music seeping out from within, with both sounds echoing throughout the abandoned alleyway the man staggered through. Already decently inebriated, his feet seemed to be a good minute behind him, the toes of his once decent dress shoes scuffing and catching against the ground as he continued to try and escape- who was he trying to escape again? It didn’t matter - not when the person chasing after him was sure to end him if they ever caught up. I mean sure, he breached that damn contract a little, but he figured he could get away with it! He was pretty sure it wasn’t explicitly stated that laundering some money from that filthy rich company wasn’t allowed, but then again his foggy head didn’t remember reading the fine print. Seriously, who does anyway?
The sound of a second pair of footsteps entering the alley snaps him out of his lamenting, muttered curses leaving his lips as he continues to drunkenly stumble forward, bumping into the red brick walls every few strides. He had no idea who exactly that cursed company had sent after him - and he had a feeling if he did, it would be the last thing he learned tonight. The footsteps continued to close in on him, the slow, patient stride never speeding up, yet always sounding as if they were just a hairsbreadth behind him. He picked up the pace, hitting his shoulder against the corner as he rounded it and- shit. It was a dead end. No fire escapes, no back door, no dumpster to hide in - nothing.
His momentum carried him forward as he tried to stop, his already terrible balance doing nothing to help as he fell face first onto the concrete, the ever steady footsteps closing in closer and closer, the painfully slow steps only furthering his panic. He scrambled to get up, his palms scraped from his initial fall, limbs shaking from the combination of alcohol and adrenaline, which made it a near impossible task. The quiet clink of metal echoed from behind him. First a quiet, soft click, from what sounded like a lighter. Then a heavier, much louder sliding of a mechanism - the loading of a gun. His heart drops as he scuffles against the ground as far away from the person approaching, turning around to press his back against the brick wall to finally face his pursuer.
The smell of cigarette smoke hits him first, his blurry vision first focusing on the lit end of a cigarette hanging from the person’s mouth, then flitting to the pistol in their hand, then to the purple tie hanging from their neck, and finally focusing on their face. The expression he was met with was a tired one, eyes boring into him from where he sat on the ground. He recognized that expression, the purple tie - it was the woman he had met a total of maybe two times, some paperwork assistant, or something like that. Was everyone in that shady company some kind of assassin?! He continued to try and back up as far as he could, pressing himself further and further against the wall, the scuffling of his shoes against the ground drowning out his stammered attempts at a negotiation. Before a proper word could come out of his mouth however, the silenced shots of a pistol drowned them all out. Once. Twice. Then, silence.
She sighed, the quiet sound now the only thing other than her footsteps echoing against the bricks, and walked over to the now still man, standing above where he lay limp against the wall he had seemed so determined to try and become a part of. Standing over him, she examined her shots, clicking her tongue as she noticed her first shot had been just shy of his heart. Oh well, her second shot had been right between the eyes, so that mostly made up for it. She reached into her pocket, unfolding what had been the man’s contract, a red inked stamp standing out across the front page, reading ‘[BREACHED]’. She spun her kunai on her index finger in the other hand as she unfolded the paper, before using it to pin the paper over his face, the blade stabbing into his forehead. Blood began to seep through the paper, adding more crimson to the contract as she stood back up, taking her cigarette out of her mouth as she looked down at her work. The smoke curls into the air as she stands there for a moment, as if in thought, before the sound of a car at the opening of the alleyway snaps her out of it, and she backs away, putting her cigarette back between her lips and shoving her hands into her pockets as she turns away, calmly walking back the way she came, her steps still echoing, slow and measured, as he lay slumped there.
What's this? You've got an interview with TF Industries? Hey, that sounds awesome! You better go and head over to it, wouldn't want to be late right? Go on!

Could I have 🗄️ for my OC the Chemist? All of his info is here on his blog
@meetthechemist
hey! happy to write something for the guy! hope you enjoy it!!
[start of recording]
"The Chemist? Yes, one moment."
The usual rolling of the metal file cabinets sounds throughout the room, files being flipped through at a seemingly leisurely pace. The sound stops, and a single file can be heard being dragged out of the cabinet, before being placed on her desk.
"Ah, right. One of the science and experiment inclined contracted. If I had to categorize, contracts of these kinds are, by all technical means, some of the easier contracts to write."
She muses, seemingly intrigued for a brief moment, before continuing to open the file, and reading the pages here.
"As is normally the case, much of the contract details the provision for and support of various experiments. This one I remember in particular only because of their...experiments previous to their hiring. A casualty count that is the same as my current age. That was a bit of a pain to sort out, and I only did the easy work."
Her recount of the incident is more annoyed than any other particular emotion; a quiet muttering upon the reminder of the work she had been put through. Another page is turned and stopped on.
"Not to say all of the various science-inclined people here are all the same. There simply just seems to be a...pattern of sorts? But of course they have their differences in fields and experiments."
The file is then closed abruptly, the wheels of Miss Kimiko's chair rolling and squeaking.
"Truly, the only major issue was a matter of communication, as I personally do not understand any version of sign language, but that is what interpreters are for. Or rather, what the interpreter was for..."
(Realized i forgot the emoji last time im so sorry)
Hi again! I really liked what you did with the contract lines for Huntress!! I'm still working through her character stuff a bit, but i was wondering if you'd be willing to do a 📂first impressions thing for her? Im so curious as to your (and miss kimiko's) interpretation of her!
Here she is again if you need her: https://www.tumblr.com/azacat-alias-lost/774945753438240768/i-have-updated-makis-reference-i-love-her-my
excuse me for taking a bit! but yes!! ofc more huntress!!
Edit: I’M SO SORRY I FORGOT MY OWN ASK SYSTEMMM I’L REBLOG THE PROPER RESPONSE SOON I PROMISE
[start of recording]
"Huntress? Oh yes - the one with a tiger, correct?"
The metal file cabinet rolls open once more in the background, as usual followed by Miss Kimiko riffling through dividers in her search for the correct file. A small 'ha!' can be heard, before a file is pulled away from the others and placed on her desk, and the cabinet is closed.
"Unique animals are certainly one way to be memorable. And another thing to consider in contracts."
The file is opened, with the slow turning of pages echoing through the once more quiet room.
"Of course, seeking refuge is another good detail to consider for these contracts. As I believe I have mentioned before, having the contracted indebted, or otherwise seeking something fairly urgently, most definitely makes my work easier."
Another page is turned, as she seems to ponder her next words while reading through the file.
"I have no doubt their...interesting medical past, has been of great interest to Medic, and is certainly helpful in combat. Although they have affected their manners in ways one would expect."
The file is then closed, the rolling sound of her chair filling the room.
"As for their tiger...Tuna Fish..? Ahem- the tiger has been, as far as I know, surprisingly well mannered. When it isn't in combat, of course. I would even be inclined to pet it - if I had less self preservation."
ayyyy! hello again!! happy to write some more for the guy hehehe
[start of recording]
"The contract for Broker, hm? Alright, one moment."
The familiar rolling of her office chair reverberates through the empty room as usual, the wheels squeaking slightly before she stops in front of her file cabinet. The cabinet rolls open, followed by the usual rustling of dividers being riffled through. The drawer is then closed again, as her chair rolls closer to the recorder, before stopping with the thud of the file on the desk's surface.
"Yes, Sinclair. In all honesty, I am more familiar with his sister - the head of accounting here. I should send her an apology gift sometime."
The pages of the file are turned, at a seemingly casual pace, as she reads through it.
"He is quite a helpful addition to his team, much like Engineer. Certainly, a team player through and through. Engineer, the poor man, needs all the help he is able to receive."
A sympathetic sigh can be heard, before she turns the page again.
"That is not to say he only assists his team. His hockey stick is certainly a common collateral. Overall, quite good at picking up any slack the team may have."
The file is then closed with a quiet snap. Two light thuds come from the table, presumably from Miss Kimiko leaning on the desk; her voice also seeming to be slightly closer to the recorder.
"Overall, Broker is a very useful asset to have on a team. Reasonable enough contract to write for him, and pleasant enough to work with. There is no reason for complaint from my end."

hiii sorry for the ask i adored your contract lines you did for trapper before and am HOOKED on your writing sooooo could i ask for 🗄️ for my oc trapper again? i’ll link the blog below!!! no pressure ofc!! if you have questions im happy to answer teehee :}}}
- @the-trapper-talks
trapper!! happy to write more stuff for this guy!
[start of recording]
"Ah, Trapper? Hm...yes, that file I know of."
The rolling of a chair is heard first, followed by the familiar opening of a file cabinet, with the usual riffling of dividers taking an almost noticeably shorter amount of time - if barely.
"I will be honest - the files of those whose mental health I am...I will say, uncertain of, are ones I often look over. Moreso to reassure myself I accounted for such a case."
The file is placed on her desk, with it quickly being opened and seemingly turned to a specific page.
"Now, performance wise, there is nothing to complain or note about. At least, compared to the others on his team. He has been one of the easier contracted to write for. Clear demands upon asking, and a fairly easy one to provide for at that, along with no wish to change personal information. Those are a surprising headache to organize."
She seems to hesitate, lingering on the page she was staring at before eventually turning to the next.
"As for...concerns. There are many that I have - many professional and performance related concerns, but a few personal ones I should not state on record. In summary...I would have sent someone to give him a mental evaluation a while ago, had I not been worried the evaluator may be murdered in the process."
Her sigh echoes clearly through the room, followed by the faint sound of her elbow being placed atop her desk as well, as if she were supporting her head on her a hand.
"Obviously, many in this profession will be mentally unstable, and I would like to believe that I have become accustomed to such cases, what with the people I work with near daily. And without a noticeable effect on his work, there is no mandated reasoning for intervention. Yet, this particular case, being in this profession can only..."
She suddenly goes silent, before clearing her throat, and the file is closed with a sharp snap.
"...well, as I have already said, it is far more personal than I am allowed to say on record. That is all."
(Realized i forgot the emoji last time im so sorry)
