Nightsister Merrin & Cal Kestis

Cal and Merrin have become my main focus when it comes to anything starwars. I have recorded a few very small clips that I felt like but no more screenshots for the time being.

I want to get back into the full swing of postings again, trying to finish my play through on Grandmaster difficulty with purity turned on. The main issue I’ve encountered is attempting to get back into the controls without switching my difficulty or removing purity for even a moment. B-2 droids have been the bane of my existence since trying to play again.

Also uploaded old gif of my grandmaster/purity play through of Merrin and Cal sitting around the campfire. Also included is a screenshot from that moment.

It’s been months since I’ve played Jedi survivor, I do plan on getting back on in the coming weeks and finishing my NG+ Grandmaster, Purity run!

These few photos are from my 1st and 2nd play throughs. The two with the duelist outfits are from my first play through. I tried to play with the red spot light a lot to hint at a dark side possibility, especially having what feels like an old Jedi statue behind him.

The one with the exile outfit is from my second play through. I played with the blue spotlight to play with the light side aspects. I really like this area before getting the force dash ability

I’ve also added a few of my favorite Cal and Merrin shots I’ve taken (some may be reposts) and two extras of just Merrin herself

This interaction between Armias and Cal is great. The way cal dodges and immediately force grabs the gun to show he’s not hostile and try and explain himself is nicely done.

This scene has always felt very dark to me seeing that brother Armias was just crushed by an Imperial Drill ship and cal can’t do anything to save him.

Along with that Cal couldn’t have held those boulders up no matter which way you’re looking at it, Merrin stepping in with her magic saved his life.

It feels like the real way to play, one shot almost anything with my saber but almost anything kills me in one hit

This photo happened because while starting photo mode on Jedha it glitched and didn’t give me the yellow filter over the photo

I completely forgot that towards the end of the clip cals foot glitches while standing on the dead body

When I had first played Jedi survivor, my first thing I wanted to do was compare photo modes from Fallen order and Survivor and how different Cal looked.

He has obviously gotten older by 5 years but they did a great job at aging him up, keeping the same style to his combat and stance’s but still adding subtle changes like in this instance how it feels like he’s not as tense while holding guard with the double saber. Almost like he’s had 5 years experience with this form

This was my outfit and hair change in the beginning of my first play through. I really liked the Luke rebel hero outfit but if I could’ve had it my way I would’ve loved to have had the hermit outfit but I never pre ordered

Instead I found Doma’s shop right after the first encounter with Rayvis and found some clothes and hair I chose to switch into

Korej Lim had killed me after the initial cutscene so quick with a grenade and blaster bolt, it maybe took me about 5 tries of flying up and dying to a heavy blaster bolt shot before I’d even touch the ground

The fight with Caij was to finish out my first play through, it was particularly difficult because my first 10-15 tries I hadn’t been able to get her to less than 50% health. I hadn’t played Jedi survivor for about 2-3 weeks before they had finally came out with the update that fixed the Bounty Hunter bug. So I took a break, ate some food and came back and did this on my first try.

He was one of, if not the hardest boss on Grandmaster, his first phase didn’t even take long to perfect but his second phase was a whole other story

When I finally continue my Jedi Grandmaster w/purity run I will continue to grab shots of moments I think deserve to be shot
