My relationship with vintage cars is complicated. I remember going to shows at the skate park and asking my dad to pick me up around the corner because I was ashamed of our 1980's station wagon (when you opened the passenger side door the creak could be heard in space, it was always quite an exit 🤠) and if my dad really wanted to embarrass us he'd pick us up from school in our late 70's Winnebago.
