Calling New Olympus

I do want to thank everyone who participated though. This was the first time I had put my writing in a public space and the response was so encouraging. 

I’ve actually still been working on this concept and am planning to write it into a book. It has changed a bit though. For one the setting is not contemporary but rather a post-apocalyptic one. With the new title of “Gods of the Apocalypse”. Characters are still pretty much the same though. I’m so excited to get to work on it but considering how close it is to my heart I may wait until I’m a more experienced writer to actually write the books. 

I have a lot of other story ideas though, and I’m actually deep at work at my creative writing degree at my college. In fact I won a fairly prestigious award recently and got to join a very cool fellowship, so my writing may actually end up going somewhere (fingers crossed!). 

If I do ever publish Gods of the Apocalypse and this site is still up I’ll make sure to let whoever is still seeing this know. 

Again I just want to thank all of you who followed and kept up with this, it truly meant a lot. I especially want to thank the ones who drew the couple pieces of fanart (or it could all be the same person). I still have the New Bacchus anon posted to my wall over my desk (which looks exactly the same after 4 years). Getting that kind of response is something I will always remember, and I am eternally grateful to you all. 

That is about it really, if you guys want to send any final questions to Nat and Rina I will 10000000000% answer them cause I still have their poses saved on this laptop (feels like almost nothing has changed sometimes lmao). 

Other than that, one last thank you to everyone. I’ll make another one of these when/if I get the book published.

No I think you might be confused. That is the backup plan. Our current plan is to fight the gods and take their power. 

And if for whatever reason, we can’t do that, the world would be better off without them. We could also find a way to lock them away, something like that, so at least they can’t influence our world anymore. 

If Pan is the person who invented it, then killing him will hopefully cure my anxiety disorder

Honestly...the world already seems pretty fucked?

Ice is melting, oceans are heating up, governments are becoming incredibly corrupt, human rights are being violated, wildlife is dying and going extinct, people are starving all over the world, and that’s not even half of it

We figure that if this is the world that we have with the gods in control...the world is better off without their influence

Even if we can’t replace them

They really deserve to die too. They are awful and if they were mortal they’d have been put to death

Thankfully we haven’t yet, there are only 8 of us so we have not had to fight over spots. 

In the event however we would have them share the domain. Unless they have a change of heart and would want to fix another of them. 

Unfortunately no such data exists right now. Many demigods are scattered across the world and have no affiliation with us or the Spartans. However from what data we do have, Zeus has had a significant amount of children.

What is more interesting however, is that the power varies wildly between demigods of the same parent. 

We are not exactly sure if that is how it works. We are still figuring out how to replace the gods right now. For all we know we cannot and the best we will be able to do is lock them away so they can no longer influence our world

I built this transmitter so it could not be picked up by anything on Earth. I do not know exactly where your signal is coming from but it’s not coming from anywhere on this planet. 

Plus it’s not like any of you are gonna rat out what we’re doing to the Spartans
