As mentioned before, though, it can sometimes be a thing sticks have to represent family or close-knit communities. Usually the tell-tale difference is how localized they are— plain bands on the wrist are usually the way sticks will do this. This is mostly a thing with more solid-color sticks like King or the CG though: sticks who are more like Mitsi or Agent (similar color schemes to other sticks of their type) may not do this. Sometimes they might get gifted colored accessories by a stick of that type, though! It's just not really something they do themselves since it's not part of their culture.

lots of avians and some valkyries + lore about sticks! also note about the accessories thing: since SC changes their hairstyle up a lot they sometimes wear their accessories as bracelets. I hadn't really fully decided what to do with them until now though so they were missing in previous drawings ^^'

It's very possible Alan might die, but I haven't decided what exact side effects phoenixes have when they die? Or what would happen to Alan in particular? Because it's possible because of him being a former human something unique happens. There's a lotta possibilities, so I'm having trouble deciding!
