genuinely nothing is more corrosive to love, respect, or trust than the insecurity of forever being second and last in line. of always being the plus one but never invited; always tolerated on their behalf but never wanted on your own. of knowing that nobody's jealousy or admiration is about you at all, only your place at their side. you tell them that you feel like you only exist when you're with them, and they laugh, charmed, but it isn't a figure of speech. it's not enough that they love you best if everyone else loves them better.

It can be easy to confuse the two, but you don't actually "wish you were more disabled", you wish your disability was taken seriously and was properly accommodated and that you had access to the support and resources you need - and that desire is so valid. You deserve more. But the sad truth is that no level of disability actually guarantees a sufficient level of support. So you have to work to separate your very understandable desire for more support from the incorrect assumption that other disabled people are consistently receiving what you aren't. All of us are getting fucked over in this society, and no group of disabled people actually has it easy.

For law firms, there's also the 'I am asking nicely for you to send me this legally mandated document' and then the follow-up 'My please was a social nicety, I am no longer asking, I am telling you to send me this document or explain to a court why you refuse to do so' which, depending on the type of law, can fill a significant amount of the day

Also, you know that bit where someone comes up to the character and whampfs down a heavy load of paperwork for them to sort through? There is a good chance that's not paperwork for them to do, but paperwork for them to scrutinize. Especially after an Incident occurs, where the character may have to run through every single example of the paperwork mentioned above, plus email chains, plus call logs, plus interview transcripts, hunting for the one little half-line sentence, nestled so sweetly somewhere in that sky-scraping stack, where someone explicitly and trackably orders the fuck-up.

So I don’t play the sims super often so I didn’t know that evil sims can do an “evil workout” which seems to just be a normal workout except sometimes they pause to laugh maniacally.

the livvy quinlin alden arguement was really funny. it was like the slightly less bitchy sequel to the alina alden tiergan arguement from book 1. something about sophie being stuck in the room while 3 divorced people argue with eachother about years old bullshit….

it's super fun tbh and I love the idea.... I also love that even after his redemption he's still making fun of children for no reason
