So I have been considering this for a while and I think, because I generally don’t ship this outside of my interactions with one particular blog, that I am making a shipping exclusive - I MULTI-SHIP meaning this is not the only ship I will have, but @speedforcereborn is the only Barry Allen I will ship with; again I am willing to interact with other Barry Allen’s, and I am willing to ship Caitlin with other characters, but no other Barry’s!

When he walked into this establishment, seeing the woman that he && his hot-headed partner had kidnapped once upon a time, was hardly anything he would’ve EXPECTED but it also wasn’t out of the world of possibility either. Lives shift, makes people go down disappointing roads to self discovery as he’s sure has panned out for the girl. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t boned up && done his research on everyone in the Scarlet Speedster’s life while he was AWAY- or rather, while he was dead. Long story short, Barry had enlisted his help on a mission, he came, he saw, he CONQUERED. 

That something had been his demise && he averted it with the knowledge he STOLE. Got him && Mick out of there. Back in central city to do whatever his little black heart desires. To let everyone know that he’s back && here to stay. Snart is going to start all SORTS of fun for the CCPD. The other will find herself curious to see that he’s back with questions of her own no doubt- though he expects nothing from her, after all .. He did CAUSE her grief from time to time with the whole kidnapping her && then her little friend Cisco && his brother. Leaning against the bar, the cold criminal briefly scrunches his face as he continues, 

“All that expensive schooling && look at all the GOOD it did you.”

Caitlin had TOUGHENED UP since managing to beat Killer Frost (despite her momentary relapses) and wasn’t going to allow herself to be pestered by someone who she knew for a fact was actually a *good* guy. But today, today he was testing her.

‘‘That’s the old you speaking. Just because you’re enjoying using and accepting your powers does not make you a bad guy.’‘ In no way, did the other have to explain herself to him. But he can’t say he didn’t appreciate her doing it, he does, her vanishing might maybe to some extent have worried him. ‘‘I would know, because I AM.’‘ he’s killed, among other things. She didn’t cross that line, probably never would unless for self defense or something.

‘‘You sound like my dad.’‘ Jesse sighs, she was so frustrated by this situation. “You guys ran all the tests you had, what more tests could you possibly do?” she shook her head, she just didn’t get it. “Tell me something. Did Barry have time to take it slow? I just want to help – and now I can. That’s… not a bad thing.”

“THERE’S NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE, Caitlin. Really. I don’t think I could EVER want you for good. Honestly, I’d still be attempting to bring you back if you weren’t already standing right in front of me.”

 THINGS WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME FOR TEAM FLASH AGAIN, not after the events that perspired prior to him going into the speed force. But Barry knew there’d be hope for them. Yes, he saw the glimpse in the future where Team Flash had disbanded due to Iris’s death, but HE was able to bring them back together, and if he had to do that in the present now, he would. They were at their STRONGEST as a team, and Barry’d make sure to remind all of them of that. No matter what. 

“And if it’s any consolation from me, I’m glad you’re the first person I saw coming out of the speed force.”

HE MEANT IT. This way the two of them could do what they were doing at the moment. Making amends for everything that happened. Did he wish Caitlin had been there that night? Absolutely. Is he mad at her for not being there? Absolutely not. Seeing Caitlin only a few feet away from him was such a relief, already it was a different setting than the future he saw. She wasn’t locked up, she wasn’t Killer Frost, she was Caitlin. Barry couldn’t contain his relief anymore, he closed the distance between them, tired of the awkward tension that engulfed the room. He walked straight up to her and threw his arms around her, holding her close to him as tears started to form in his eyes.

“Welcome home.”

            SHE COULDN’T CONTAIN HER JOY when he came over and hugged her.              She truly felt a weight lifted off her shoulders, and she couldn’t make              a move apart from hugging him back, holding onto him tightly, closing              her eyes and for a moment, pretending that things were like they once were.

               “SO YOU’RE THE NEW LIEUTENANT. Nice to meet you.” She said with a smirk, sitting down next to the white haired woman. Zoom had brought them all to his base, where several of them could meet && talk about plans, especially if they were as high leveled as her. For today though, it was casual, almost celebratory – all because of the chaos that was happening around Central City that day. 

               OFFERING THE FELLOW METAHUMAN A glass of champagne, she took a sip of her own, dark lidded eyes, focused on her. Sizing her up for one, but for another, just enjoying the view. “You can call me Black Siren. && I assume you’re Killer Frost??” Just by the looks of course.

         “THAT IS MY NAME, yes ... I see my reputation proceeds me! Nice to meet you Black Siren!” she smiled to the fellow metahuman. She looked at her trying to work out what abilities the woman had - she was obviously POWERFUL, otherwise Zoom would not have wanted to get the two to meet. There were a few people there, all of whom she had heard of or had met personally before.
