Scan from Mizuno Hideko's Garden of Loanejulais (Roonu Juree no Niwa, ローヌジュレエの庭). I'm not super sure about how to romanize that name, but oh well... this scan comes from Bara Gensou, but this story is included in a couple of other Mizuno books for those interested.

It was serialized in Hana to Yume in 1975, in issues #18-19. This tragic fantasy has a girl who can only eat rose petals and drink dew from roses and would die if her rose supply is cut-off. Of course, that made me automatically think of The Poe Clan. Are we to conclude that getting your sustenance from roses was a shoujo staple in the 1970s?
