You are not the only one. I am excited too. Do you have a theme to decorate or just go to whatever you like? I always try to make it cute but spooky.

Give me all the hot cider, hay rides and horror movie marathons, please! Have you decided on a costume yet? How are you planning to decorate? I need all the details! ❞

There’s definitely people complaining that it’s too early. I was checking out the Halloween aisle the other day and people were being so grumpy about it. As soon as it hits September, I’m ready to get the ball rolling on the creepy vibes. Exactly, who doesn’t enjoy these things? I haven’t decided yet, there’s too many to choose from, I’m slowly narrowing it down though. I don’t usually have a theme, I just go overboard but in a stylish way. The creepier the better, while keeping it family friendly for the kid’s sake. I lowkey want to do Haunted Mansion style this year.

“Well, considering I do concerts called ‘Harryween’ and tend to go all out for my costumes when it comes to those, I would like to think Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I haven’t bought any decorations yet, I need to do that — as soon as I finish unpacking and settling in. I don’t think rushing to do something you love is a bad thing. I promise, I’ll get you a pumpkin spiced latte from a coffee shop or Starbucks.”

Now that is a genius idea, are you doing these shows this year? If so I may have to come see it. Do you have any costume ideas for this year? Mine too, although it is sharing the number one spot with Christmas. If you need a buddy to go Halloween decor shopping then you let me know, I can never have too much stuff for the house. If you do that, I promise I’ll repay the favour by buying you one back some time.

i’m more of a christmas person but i do enjoy halloween too. i guess the plus side is that i get to wear my cozy jumpers as the weather gets cooler here. i probably won’t get to the pumpkin patch for awhile because i need to get my place sorted out first. but as soon as i do that, i’m definitely heading over there for some pumpkins. 

please tell me you put spider webs all over the place in your house come this time of the year. i cannot stand pumpkin spice, not the artificial one at least. it has to be the natural kind of pumpkin spice for me to enjoy it. when i finally get my pumpkins i’ll be baking all sorts of things when i have a chance to. 

Is it really Halloween without all the fake spider webs and those annoying little plastic spiders that you keep finding throughout the year. I’m that basic bitch who loves anything pumpkin spice, it just gets me in the fall mood. What sort of things will you bake and can I taste test them?

That’s not a bad reason at all. I’m just as excited as you are, so if that makes me not normal, then who needs it? 

I love how on board everyone is with these obsession, I can’t wait to see how amazing everyone’s houses are going to look. Normal is boring babe. But Kat hi! It’s been forever, I still look back at the 2 Broke Girls skit with did with pride. How have you been girl?

That isn’t bad whatsoever! I’m big on Halloween as well. I like things…mid-scary. Like not too cute but not too gory if that makes sense. The White Rabbit has amazing pumpkin spice coffee. Oh! And Rosie’s in Oak Grove has the absolute best pumpkin cupcakes and muffins I’ve ever had. I think that all answers your last question that I’m just as sane as you are!

I’m the same way, mainly because I do have kids in the house and so I have to keep things relatively family friendly. But I do like to add a bit of gore in there when I can. You know what, you’re an absolute star! I’m going to make a run to these places right now while the kids are at school. Who want’s to be normal when you can be us right?

Not bad at all! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people excited for Halloween in September before and I’m loving it. I’ve got some time off this week too so I think this means I just have to join the masses and start decorating myself. I’m excited to see what you do with your place, I have no doubts it’ll be amazing. Oh I’m just as excited, Halloween is one of the best times of the year. Hopefully Mount Meadow does some cool stuff for the season.

Like I tell everyone, spooky season starts in September, I don’t make up the rules. Babe let’s do it, we’re going to have the best decorated houses in the area! My place is usually a cross between Disneyland at Halloween and a haunted house attraction, it’s perfectly balanced. Do you have your costume picked out yet? I’m excited to see what this town does honestly.

hey, not at all! i’m already thinking of costumes for my two little daughters. love that you’ve moved spooky season to september. can’t wait for the newest hocus pocus movie to come out. must admit i’m more excited about christmas than halloween anyways.

Dressing up your kids is the best, although mine are old enough to choose their own so I no longer get a say. Babe, spooky season is from September right up until November starts, then Christmas is in full swing. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for Hocus Pocus, I’m making a whole big deal out of it when it finally comes out. Oh if you think I’m bad now, wait until it’s time to decorate for Christmas, I’m like Martha May Whovier.
