Learning to Disappear by Nathan Bett
Stacking street photos to make it appear as if every person is looking at the photographer. You get a ton of these photos with individuals looks disapprovingly or suspiciously at you, and they often ruin otherwise great shots. I like this inversion.
Nathan also wrote an article about the project on Medium.
One Day Young by Jenny Lewis
Photographs of women on their first day of being a mother.
Available as a book here.
Boundaries by Allaire Bartel
A project that illustrates what male entitlement can feel like to women when they experience it.
Seascapes by Ray Collins
Waves, photographed to look like mountains.

Elizabeth Gadd
Elizabeth is one of my favourite photographers right now, and probably my favourite Vancouver photographer. She does these beautiful landscapes from all over BC, with a single person in them. It's a simple conceit, but she consistently produces such gorgeous work in that style. I love it.
Burlesque by Sean Schiedt
Gorgeous photos of professional burlesque dancers, before and after their dramatic transformations to their stage personas.
Cristina Hoch
Gorgeous natural light portraiture, very reminiscent of Alessio Albi's work.
Controllers by Javier Laspuir
Clever photography series showing the evolution of the videogame controller over the last several decades. I love how the clothes and accessories subtly change to match the era.
Watchtower of Turkey by Leonardo Dalessandri The intensely fast MTV cuts take a minute to get used to, but this is an intensely beautiful snapshot of a 3500km trip across Turkey.

Paris Through Pentax by Maison Carnot Paris, as seen through the viewfinder of a Pentax medium format film camera. Simple, DIY, & beautiful.
Alessio Albi Gorgeous cinematic portraits by Alessio Albi. Just browse through, his work is amazing.
June Fog by Michael Salisbury Fantastic urban photography of the fog & city architecture in Chicago.
April and Michael by John Newton Wedding photographs with a wildfire used as the backdrop, like nothing else you've ever seen.

Crossroad of Realities by Benoit Paillé
Screenshots of GTA 5, processed in Lightroom and then overlaid with studio-lit photos of people's arms and real-world cameras. Brilliant mix of within and without the game world.
I've previously featured Benoit's work here and here.
I Fought the Law by Olivia Locher
Photo representations of absurd and/or archaic state laws.
