I was asked to recreate a client's spot from 2013 that was produced by another company. I was given 1 day. A graphic designer illustrated her rendition of the previously used 3D chicken and I used the puppet tool in After Effects to animate it. Here is a sample of a rough animation from the spot when I was working on the timing.

Helping Hands - 5dayMoGraph challenge day5 week3. Here is last night's submission. A logo animation for a social activism organization. The general idea of this is that kindness is infectious. One volunteers and many others follow.

Voltaire Volando - That there is some free speech bustin' thru censorship. Dynamics and bend deformers were used. " Gonna fly on an Eagle, I'm gonna kick some butt, I'm gonna drive a big truck...!"

“Noodle Girl Deli” - Day3 Week3. With a wonderful Kokeshi design by Von Glitschka I utilized the ol’ morphing between splines technique in C4D. The initial splines for the kokeshi and “yum” were done in illustrator and the  turning it into a GIF was done in Photoshop. 

Fire-Block - day2 Week3. The task was to animate a logo, provided by Von Glitschka, for a digital security company. “Firewall” was what came to mind when I saw the red robot with fire coming out of its pincher hands. This animation was completed entirely with After Effects and the GIF was processed in Photoshop.

SuperFly Digital - day1 week3. Today’s task was to make a quick logo animation for a digital data back up service company. The logo was provided by Von Glitschka. I used Cinema4d to make the 3d logo and the cel render pass. This was all composited in After Effects. 

Space X Hits The Landing - #5dayMoGraph day5 week 2. Exercise in animation fundamentals: Squash&Stretch.

"Mis-Cue (Because We've All Been There)" - #5dayMoGraph challenge Day3 Week2 Theme:Anticipation. Fundamentals of animation are so HOT right now. I should have exaggerated the draw back more. Oh-well. It's a fave. I made the characters in Illustrator and the rest was done in cinema 4d with sketch&toon. It was then composited in After Effects.  

I made these characters in Illustrator for my upcoming 5DayMoGraph submission. Finding the right hues for skin color and brown hair can be difficult.
