Here is my newest project: An AT&T 3B2, a 32 bit unix beast from 1984. I acquired 2 of them along with an expansion chassis and external scsi tape drive. I've only managed to get one of them to boot, the other machine was in pretty rough shape... Hopefully I can get SYS V running on this powerhouse of a machine.

Finally done.
Finally, after three glitch chips, 2 raspberry pi picks, and a few damaged traces, the xbox 360 is completely jailbroken! I had some difficulties programming the glitch chip because the pico refused to want to work as a jtag programmer so I had to dig out my usb blaster to program the chip. All in all, this is by far the most difficult console mod to date, and the most expensive one by far
Rev 1.0 of the 8086 SBC has been completed :3
It features hardware uart and onboard floppy controller, as well as having an 8 bit ISA slot for connecting additional hardware. The cpu runs at 5mhz, so a slight overclock from the XT's 4.77mhz. However the performance should be more significant thanks to the lack of dram and the need for a refresh cycle, and the true 16 bit data bus from the 8086, rather than the 8 bit bus from the 8088
A little side project I've been slowly chipping away at. A single board computer inspired by the intel 8086's coprocessor capabilities. This is my first pcb that I will be designing, and the sbc design is loosely based on another I found online. I wanted to incorporate some of the rarer coprocessors intel designed for the x86 platform
Postfix adapter has been installed. Unfortunately I fucked up the CPU_PLL_BYPASS via while attempting to solder the wire to it so RGH 3 is out the window. SRGH it is, I just need to find a decent quality glitch chip to program. I don't have a good jtag programmer so hopefully I can program the chip using a Raspberry Pi Pico and the dirtyjtag library.

Trying my hand at a bit of a more advanced console mod. Here I have an xbox 360 corona motherboard from an xbox 360 slim. Afaik this is a corona V4 with the 4GB eMMC flash. I am planning on performing the RGH 3 exploit. Compared to the original xbox's modchip, this console requires using an additional flex cable designed to extract the POST signal from the solder balls underneath the chip. The exploit is designed to reset the cpu at precisely the right time to allow for custom code to be exploited.
First time hardmodding a console :) The original XBOX, now running Cerbios + UnleashX, with an openxenium modchip. I had to install an lpc rebuild because the lpc port on a 1.6 revision motherboard is missing the traces to it. I've also upgraded the storage to 32 gigs with an ide to sdcard adapter.
This board is super interesting to me bc it uses a really neat trick to literally double the amount of ram onboard- Each of the ram chips on the right side of the board are actually two ram chips stacked on top of each other with some of the pins rewired, basically creating two separate banks, allowing for a max of approximately 128k of memory (If my math is correct, anyway)
It was most likely a cost-cutting solution to buying more 32k ram chips bc thats sram, which is ridiculously more expensive than dram, for the same amount of storage. The sram also has the added benefit of not requiring a refresh, which means that with the battery backup, that becomes non-volatile ram. This means that even with the machine entirely powered off, the ram is not cleared. This can increase the speed at boot, or in the case of this machine store values used in data acquisition :) This came from an analog signal analyzer and runs a custom version of BASIC in it's roms.
