jisoo is a stubborn woman, she doesn’t want to admit he was right so she crosses her arms and huffs. “fine stay the night. i don’t fucking care.” she says as she turns around and heads to her room, “you worry just like my baby brother does.” she mumbles, knowing he would have done the exact same as chris also. “did you even bring anything because you don’t have shit here.”

Chris snorts, raising an eyebrow as she walks off and mumbles to herself. He grabs the duffel off the floor and follows her towards the bedroom before she speaks to him again. "Yeah." He holds up the bag as if it wasn't obvious what it was. "I always come prepared." Chris has never left the house without thinking about everything; it was either Jisoo was going to his house or he was staying there so taking a bag was needed. Throwing the bag onto her bed, he then grabs her wrist and pulls her close. "Settle down, wildcat. Don't act like you hate the thought of me staying the night."

Speed dating is certainly not Chris' thing and the only reason he is here is because his brother has dragged him out to one to make sure he doesn't stay stuck at home, watching the world like some isolated King. That's how he put it. Chris simply likes the quiet of his home. Haneul lowering her voice has his lip almost twitching up in a smile, "smart girl." He says before leaning back and looking around before indicating with a nod of his head towards Jooyeon. "I'm here because he is." He then gives his attention back to Haneul, folding his arms over his chest and making his biceps look bigger. "Why are you here, little one?"

Haneul giggles quietly and relaxes in her seat a bit, feeling at ease with Chris after the past couple nerve wracking chats with others. When Chris nods at Jooyeon she follows his gaze and hums, "ohhh is that Mr Jooyeon! He's definitely the outgoing one of the two of you, I see that" she giggles, watching Jooyeon talk animatedly with his pairing. She looks back at Chris and can't help but notice his muscles which makes her blush and lose her train of thought for a moment. It takes a second but she clears her throat and answers his question, "ahem, my friend dragged me along with her saying it's a good way to put myself out there" she smiles, "is it working? I dunno but it's definitely something I wouldn't have done last year"

"He's what people like to deal with, and do deal with, most of the time. He's the easier one to do so. I'm the one they get when they don't follow through or pay on time." Chris says as if it's common knowledge, knowing that that isn't actually all he does but he's not sharing that. Not here. Not ever. He notices the way she loses herself for a moment and his lip pulls up for a moment, a brief half-smile in amusement before nodding his head to her explanation. "At least you are trying to follow through with this new outlook on life. A month in, still going strong."

"ooooh hehe it's giving good cop bad cop energy" she smiles listening to how the pair work, "I bet you're really scary with those people because they're messing about and not doing their half of a deal" she thinks out loud. If she knew anything about him it's that he doesn't beat around the bush so she could definitely see him getting straight to the point when people fail to pay up or follow through. "Oh yeah! I'm glad I haven't given up yet, it's been fun to come out my shell more! Like I've had more fun experiences this past month like for example here I am chatting with you in a setting like this! Who would've thought right?" She grins, eyes sparkling with joy.

He nods, more or less confirming what she thinks about him before moving on to a topic outside of him. "It's good that you are getting out there and doing more with your life." He snorts slightly at her happiness about their situation, "yes, because sitting in some bar talking with strangers has been the highlight of the week." He says sarcastically before shaking his head, "at least you're happy about it though, little one. Tell me." Chris leans closer, "did you plan on exchanging numbers with anyone here?"

She tilts her head a bit at his sarcasm but smiles, "I mean the rest of the evening might not have been my cup of tea but at least I'm talking to you and that sounds like a nice evening to me" she says with a small laugh, "not really no, I came here with a friend who said it might be a good way to get my confidence up a bit, besides, no one has been nice enough for me to think of doing that. Why do you ask?" She asks curiously

Shrugging his shoulders, Chris looks around and makes eye contact with his brother before rolling his eyes and giving his attention back to Haneul. He thinks about it for a moment, quiet, assessing. Sure, there's really been no indicator but... "You want to come back to my place for the night?" He asks, in a very Chris fashion with a smirk playing on his lips.

Haneul's cheeks flush bright pink at his question, "t-to do what?" She stutters before clearing her throat quickly, "like it will probably be b-better than staying here longer and talking to random people because we'll have fun but like w-what will we do?" She asks. She's half-certain that he's asking if she wants to sleep with him judging by his classic teasing and smirk, but she doesn't want to embarrass herself by assuming his intentions. In her head she's racing through a million different scenarios trying to figure out what she'll say to whatever he says next

He raises an eyebrow at her question, no hint of teasing on his face nor does it look like he’s doing this to simply amuse himself. “What do you think?” He asks, cracking his neck before looking over at the timer that is about go off. “Better decide quickly, little one, you’ve got thirty seconds.” His tongue pushes against the inside of his cheek as he stares intensely at Haneul. It’s not like this was always his end game but he is interested in what she will say.

Haneul's cheeks stay pink as she thinks over what to say. She's quite certain what his implication is but isn't sure if that's what she wants out of a night with him. She'd rather spend the night hanging out and getting to know him more, maybe even enjoy a nice walk together. She knows for certain that no one here has captured her interest and that it's not worth staying any longer. She watches him carefully, trying to form a proper sentence. "I- uhm.. well I don't wanna stay here... A night with you sounds fun so y-yes?" She says clumsily, almost as a question. She clears her throat, "I mean sure let's get out of here" she says more confidently, "I wanna spend more time with you, you're way more interesting than this event" she says with a small smile

Chuckling, he tilts his head as he looks at her because he can tell by the way she responded that their idea of how the night is going to go is vastly different and while Chris hates the idea of turning away someone so pretty, he also is still a man. "You wanna spend more time with me, huh?" He hums, "tell me, what exactly do you think I was implying by coming back and spending the night with me? You wanna sit on the couch and just talk or would you like to see the bedroom?" He's teasing, of course, pushing her buttons to see where the limit is.
