The catamaran is in Anse Marcel on the French side of the island. There are a couple of little shops and restaurants around. We get the provisions with a rental car from a supermarket near us. Lots of rides for two catamarans and about 18 people.

Successful landing a 9 hour flight at the Princess Juliana Airport in Sint Maarten. The airport is one of the world's most dangerous. This is not because the spectacular landings only a few meters above the heads of the bathers on the beach, but because of the mountains at the end of the runway. To avoid a collision the pilot has to fly a complex maneuver shortly after taking off. Kind of a Powerslide by plane ....well, fortunately i have three weeks time before i have to think again about this.

On the way to the BVI i had to switch the plain in France for a 9h flight. Fortunally you can get beer and wine at a Air France flight for free. :o)
