oh my god i hate the popeyes thing because she’s so clearly not the ceo what ceo is wearing the uniform that behind the counter employees wear

Ian it is clearly meant to imply that she is a figure of authority within the Popeyes corporate structure. The Popeyes chicken corporation is lying to us and it’s time the truth came out.

Paul took my phone from me to write and post this because he watched the Popeyes undercover boss episode a few months ago and has felt really betrayed by the Popeyes brand for convincing him that a black woman ran the company when it is in fact a white woman.

i mean i understand but also i expect people to be media-literate enough to realize that she is clearly an employee and not once does she ever say she is the ceo

But the only evidence of her just being a regular employee is the fact that she's wearing an apron. It's not unreasonable to expect that a boss spending a day in a store might dress as a worker in order to reinforce their bond with the common man. Also since she isn't wearing a hat, it can be understood that she lacks familiarity with the nuts and bolts of health code because of her high position within the company.
