To be a Meme
Ryan always pursued the road of success and despite the love for acting and singing - something he studied but with no success - he developed a platform online, where he used his catchy sexy body to raise attention and generous followers.
Becoming a viral meme was not on his list though, and especially of a weird kind. While searching the corresponding results linked to his name, something strange appeared... a tumblr blog related to a really niche weird topic related to gaining that shared his pics assuming he was gaining weight...
At first he didn't really understood it, and looked to the pics to see if they were deformed or altered, but it turns out there were no modifications... and he was not gaining anything at all!
He didn't care much, after all, being on the public eye meant to accept any kind of exposure and as long as he was not damaged by that, all that came along was only for good. Little did he know that behind that little page there was a storm coming.. the owner of the blog, a countryside teen, modified its privacy policies allowing the page to appear at the top of any research tab and in any topic related to the most trending ones: fitness infuencers, fashion, vip, lifestyle, gossip... and in no time speculations rised around Ryan physical shape and his carreer as a fitness influencer. Still, it was not yet possible to consider that as a public image damage, because the only one earning from it was Ryan itself, who got invited to several podcasts to discuss about sport and diet, and saw an increase in followers. All of them, though, reposted THAT content and constanly commented Ryan's posts with encouragments and food emoji. The increasing attention towards body positivity did the rest, as people expected from him to defend his growth and not to shamefully deny it like it was wrong.
The meme survived even in real life meetings when everyone called him 'big guy', the 'hungry Ryan', and asked him to be involved in the meme replicas... He decided, then, to exploit that and gave to himself some permission regarding things he never allowed to do: a calorie raise, some extra snack, accepting donations and gifts from fans (food related of course)..
His mediocre talent was then quickly replaced by his lunches and mukbangs online that started as music and cinema reviews or singing songs live… people always asked him to have something, how he was dealing with diet and commitment and he decided to play that game since, as u can see, his body responded very well to the extra food and was smoking hot.
As other creators, he was among the oiled gamers and livestreamers who appeared shirtless and acting like naturally sexy and hot, but something was changing, and it all depended entirely upon the teen behind his unexpected success. The nerdy teen treated him like a real life personification of an online game and was able to influence Ryan’s choices through the modification of his own media algorithm that induced to provide specific and thematic contents about gaining and online trends related. Moreover, he constantly published posts, like news leaks about him, addressing luxurious and lavish lifestyle and restaurants feasts.
Ryan, who always looked at his online persona performance and positioning, saw his growth in the specific segment of the foodie community and the opportunity to build a platform where to expand his audience regarding music and showbiz, his primary interests, that was actually being sacrificed and was actually loosing engagement… fitness content, in his online window frame, were not attractive anymore, as well as reviews and cultural field. While he saw big potential in the lgbtqia+ scene, in the gamers community and in the body positive personalities… how to develop and intertwine the three fields in order to be recognised and specific online could be a topic of discussion and followed different routes but not exactly what Ryan’s induced choices elaborated: a series of contents about food, music and games titled B-EAT THE MEME in which he discussed musical and socials news while eating and queer baiting his audience flexing his oiled muscles in front of the camera…
How long would it last before ballooning?? Not so much considering that he left his followers choose the food and opened a public delivery wishlist from where anyone could pay for his meals and order them… the embarrassing thing was that most of his comments and supporters were AI Trained bots who completely altered his perception of the follower’s requests, so that he basically ate for no one.
To his eyes, on the other hand, he hardly perceived his fast growth and continued to bulk as everyone asked, with the promise of a future fitness competition. Would you ever consider possible him leaving his led-lighted all purpose room where he filmed himself, ate, slept, played, and worked remaining seated on a gamer’s couch?
Everything was a mess… his all purpose cheap body oil impregnated all the room textiles and everything smelled as a mix of that with his sweat and the food leftovers, mainly fried, while he became more and more lazy. Not to mention that of all the people he dated in the past: no one dared to touch him anymore, not only since his weight gain, but since he shifted his contents to a different field that was transforming him into a messy flabby lazy dirty creator whose presence online was not related anymore to a specific topic, say it music or food, but became a meaningless exhibition of himself porking out in the name of a meme that had the power to change his mind for the worst… or for the good of everyone enjoying…
He was in fact stuck in between following his purpose of emerging as a talent and the compromise with the opportunity given but he was missing the trap he was into… his algorithm hid all the online speculations and articles about his public humiliation and he was completely unaware of these until the very same nerdy guy who managed everything decided to leave the news reach him.
At that point he was starting a new challenge about eating junk food for a week and he didn’t quite understand, as the articles looked old and not updated like before. There were shirtless pics, while he started wearing some tops to hide the damage since some month now. So he had to read twice the news to realise. The third pack of chicken nuggets almost choked him as he saw a thousand of memes about him, laughing at him. Several screenshots of his daily lives were posted like a carousel amd he couldn’t help but notice his 30 kg gain damage in 30 second reels online.
well... time for another nuggets challenge...
