10 days post-op!

I'm 10 days post-op today with Mr Kneeshaw and I got my drains out and dressings all taken off this afternoon. Honestly could not be happier with my chest. My nipples are pretty much healed but I have to keep taping them for 12 weeks just to prevent the scar from stretching. So amazed by Kneeshaw and what he's managed to do for me!

I had top surgery two days ago with Mr Kneeshaw in Hull. This photo was taken the morning after surgery. Absolutely over the moon with my results and I can not fault Kneeshaw and his nursing team at all! I’m in a bit of pain which was expected and I have to keep my drains in for 10 days until my post op appointment on the 16th, but overall it couldn’t have gone any better! I went private and had my surgery at the Spire Hospital in Hull.

Hi, what your experience like with the clinic? Did you have to see gp first? Also how long was the wait to get your t letter? Thanks

I’m presuming you mean with GenderCare? You can self refer to them but you probably wan’t to see your GP first just to get them onside with agreeing t shared care otherwise you’re going to be paying through the nose for each prescription. I got the go ahead for T the same day as my appointments. Both doctors at gendercare are really nice, if you can afford it and want to get things underway quickly I’d recommend it, I do think they have about a 7 month waiting list for appointments at the moment though
