I can’t drown my demons, they know how to swim

If you have been brutally broken, but still have the courage to be gentle to others then you deserve a love deeper than the ocean itself.

There are all these moments you think you won’t survive. And then you survive.

If she is brave enough to reveal her fragile side to you, be man enough to handle it with care. Do not use it against her, do not make her regret what she shared. Accept her gift of courage and return it with love, show her despite her flaws she’s still more than enough.

You’ll understand why storms are named after people.

Notice the people who are happy for your happiness, and sad for your sadness. They’re the ones who deserve special places in your heart.

Continue to share your heart with people even if it has been broken.

Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light.

Be messy and complicated and afraid and show up anyways.
