dreamed there was a kind of aragorn-themed packaged ice cream called “strider ice cream” which had been released as a promotion for the lotr movies in the early 2000s. my friends were asking me if i liked it, so i tried to seek it out, but found out online it was selling for an entire bitcoin these days. but i found the recipe - it was in an article which said something like “it is considered one of the finest promotional ice creams. its flavors are chocolate, pistachio, and lingonberry.” it was just a 3-scoop cone where the bottom scoop, the lingonberry, was chocolate dipped. i planned to make a copycat of it to try it. there was a controversial video of the ice cream’s creator smothering a mouse by putting the mouse in a cone and putting soft serve on top of it. he later released a different video with no dead mouse, but the ice cream was clearly made of play doh in that one.

this is the funniest thing in the world because i love the implication that the creator of the ice cream couldn’t possibly bear to make ice cream without killing a mouse so he had to fake the ice cream itself
