I fear that much of having a job and managing your life etc ends up being like: you have several somewhat pressing but not immediately urgent tasks to handle but they keep getting bumped by things that are actually urgent. and then when you don't have anything urgent you're so tired from handling the urgent things that you still don't handle the moderately pressing tasks. and then you blink and it's been four years since you went to the dentist.
