Becoming a global icon โฝ๏ธ๐พ
Carlos was already a star recognized for his talent. Everybody following tennis or being into sport knows him generally. What happened yesterday was bigger than that though. He's become a global icon.
Like I said football is the most popular sport in the world. The final is always almost followed by at least 1.5 billion people. Maybe this time nearly 2 billion, which means at least one billion people watched Carlos presenting the winner's trophy yesterday.
We already knew he'd attend the final. At first, I thought because of Spain playing it. Later, I've realized he'd have attended the event whoever would play because he's a Louis Vuitton ambassador.
He was simply the chosen one this time.
A lot of you knows how many LV ambassadors this brand has but he has been chosen to do it, to represent a certain image.
An ode to a certain type of elegance.
At such a young age, Carlos is already writing his name in tennis and also outside his sport.
In the past, there had been so many criticism about LV such as it's not Carlos' style, the fit doesn't look modern etc. If you have noticed, for the past two months Carlos has adopted a more mature style when he wants to go formal (Marbella, summer 2026 etc).
It's definitely a will coming from him.
Yesterday was the proof he's working with the right fashion brand. You can't escape LV. They're literally everywhere : tennis, f1, football. Their visibility is enormous.
Nowadays, athletes have a renewed image. That's why so many brands want to work with them.
This is the suit he was wearing yesterday from the collection. ๐
Everything always happens for a reason. This year has been such a rollercoaster from his victory in Australia to his injury and now he's a global face.
As a fan, I cannot wait for the 2nd chapter of his already legendary career. He has been working hard to get there so congratulations for every bit of success again and see you in Cincy in August. ๐
