It’s a time passer for me. Poetry isn’t a waste, but it seems go to waste when all you do is scrawl it and leave it be. Maybe one day I’ll make it a book and all that time will have some worth. I think you should try writing, perhaps about spud.

You should make it a book! That sounds really cool

I’d appreciate that. I plan on my efforts with Rosemary being vigorous and full of zeal. I am! Most of my writing is political, but I really like making books for children. I do a lot of poetry when I’m wasting time.

I do, they were good pets. I’ve had lots of cats, too. And fish. And some rabbits. And I had a few parakeets. Also two baby turtles, who died. I like spud, it’s cute.

I'll have to give you some of my luck with pets--I only ever had Spud so it's goin to waste otherwise, right?

Spud…. beautiful. Your father sounds like a poetic man. Our dog was smaller and his name was Frankie. Most of our pets died horribly and very quickly. Not for a dramatic reason, just awful luck.

I'm afraid I named him haha! Not a poetic kid, still not that way now. But I think I'd aim higher than Spud nowadays.

Her name is Rosemary and yes, she is. She’s cute as can be, too. So many wrinkles. Chews on my shoes.

I can see the importance. I just got a bloodhound and she is my world.
