Since coming home everyone has called me vain because I use so many products now and I care how I look so much more then I used to. And yes I am. I am vain, Sue me for it or something.
I just came back from China, and while I was there (for 18 months) I lost about 30kg (roughly 75 pounds), I have no photos of myself from the start and can't look at photos of myself because I look so fat in them.
People tell you all the time when you lose the weight you'll finally feel good about yourself, maybe I just haven't lost enough but I still hate it all, my routines are insane for a shower routine every I do:
1. Rosemary oil in hair 1/2 hours before shower
2. Gentle oat cleanser
3. Shampoo 1
4. Oil cleanser
5. Shampoo 2 leave sit for 3 minutes
6. Body wash 1 with soap bar
7. Body was 2 with a neutral scented liquid body wash
8. Conditioner leave sit for 3 minutes
9. Body wash 3 with scented soap
10. Hair mask leave in for 10 minutes
11. Facial and body exfoliator because I'm terrified of not feeling smooth
After the shower:
1. Dry off with towel
2. Leave in hair mask
3. Leave in hair oil
4. Tie hair up for the night
5. Toner 1
6. Moisturise body with Palmer's cocoa lotion
7. Toner 2-3
8. Body oil
9. Deodorant
10. Perfume
11. Brush teeth
12. One of 3 serums depending on night
13. Facial moisturizer
14. Face mask
And guess what? I STILL FEEL FAT AND UGLY, but when I was at my heaviest I felt so ugly and fat I didn't care how I looked, now I'm Skinnier I overcompensate because I suddenly care more about how I look then I ever did before, I literally looked into getting a rib removed cause I look wide from the side
So yes, I am vain, I care how I'm perceived. Is that really so bad though?
