Unusual Faunus in Unusual Circumstances

You dont have to try too hard for goals or anything. Honestly, doing it the other way around is often easier. Just RP whatever comes to mind and how you feel about it, and just let it flow. Don’t push yourself too hard is what Im saying.

Well that’s the problem

With Emma, I had an end goal for her in mind, and things came around that would be little situations or events that she’d get into on that road to that end. Having the one brought the other. I could also think of asks to send out more easily knowing what Emma’s objective was compared to what the other muse’s objective was and thinking about what could work between them.

as much as I’ve thought of for the muses themselves, there’s just been nothing coming to mind beyond that

Main-Traits: A single horn, immediately curls up and back over her head, small branches growing through each decade of her life

Sub-Traits:  A two-foot long pale grey tail, hairless till a tuft of fluffy near-white hair/fur covering the end of it and some of the underside

Long, Knee-length hair that starts black at the roots, fades to a silvery grey just above the shoulders, and fades to a near perfect white after the waist

Often pulled together and back into a single, long, low pony-tail for combat

Semblance: Nature’s Breath; Mist Style

Based off Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Breathing Techniques, The Fujiki Family Semblance allows one to use special methods of breathing to enhance physical capabilities for sword techniques, as well as channel the respective elements to their breathing style. But no member of the Fujiki family is locked to any one breathing style, and can train themselves in any of the others available. Though each is born with an affinity towards one style or another, allowing them to master that specific style more easily, and making the others take longer.

The end goal for any Fujiki is the “Perfect Breath” technique, which enhances the user’s physical capabilities, allowing them to move faster, hit harder, and react sooner. This provides “Super-Soldier” like physical capabilities, but, if not handled right, can cause great pain and potentially damage the body severely.

Kemuri’s affinity is Mist style, allowing free-flowing motions of her blade in combat with little issue in redirecting attacks or the speed behind them. With the elemental aspect, she can exhale clouds of mist, create highly condensed platforms for single-step use out of mist, and conceal herself.

Weapons: Jet and Wisp

Jet, a Ninjato blade forged with Iron and reinforced with steel. A square branch-like designed cross-guard marks the top of the white cloth-wrapped grip. The blade is gently engraved with the pattern of a string of Wisteria flowers. Two enchantments are embedded into the pattern by the Weaponsmith Gotin Amachi. 

One along the stem of the pattern enhances it’s durability to match that of even the most durable weapons made, without sacrificing it’s cutting capability, light-weight, or speed.. 

The second across the flowers proper allows the blade to block and deflect elemental energies like fire and lightning. Combining this with the small amount of experience Kemuri has with the other breath styles that her Family Semblance allows access to, she can manage ranged methods of attacking her enemies.

Wisp, a single Kunai throwing knife attached to a long, thin rope. Both the blade and the rope are enchanted by Gotin as well. The Kunai given one to allow it to move against wind currents without issue. The Rope’s enchantment makes it nigh unbreakable by any method.

Armor: Kemuri’s combat gear is some simplistic cloth clothing made of a two-piece body suit with simple, ballet-slipper like shoes, shorts, vest, and scarf she can wear over top, and a cloak over everything. Some light metal plating can be found within the lining of the shorts on the hips and in the chest, abdomen, and the back of the vest. Like with her weapons, each of these articles of her outfit are all enchanted by Gotin. 

The body suit with enhanced durability. 

The shoes are enchanted twice over

one to suppress the sound of the wearer’s foot-falls

one to allow the shoes to grip to surfaces better, preventing slippage on most surfaces

Shorts and Vest with temperature regulation to counter hotter or cooler environments. 

Scarf with an enchantment allowing it to stop and negate toxic fumes, essentially being able to function as a gas mask.

The Cloak’s enchantment  allows it to blend the wearer into the shadows whenever it’s pulled closed in the front, allowing one to hide in plain sight

Enchanted Aura-Sensing Eye:

After an incident while fighting Grimm, Kemuri’s right eye was damaged to a point it couldn’t be saved. While receiving medical care, she decided on having it removed. After a short recovery period afterward, she went to her close friend and her Weaponsmith/Armorsmith, Gotin Amachi, to request he make a synthetic replacement. The two worked together for an entire day to gather and melt down glass, shaping it to the form of an eye, and giving it a cloudy-white coloration with a small circle engraved to mimic the iris of an eye in the front. 

Gotin then proceeded to use his semblance to enchant the eye and give it the ability to perceive living beings via their aura.

Humans and Faunus show as full figures of whichever color their aura is. Animals show slightly smaller than what their full form would normally be, the rest of their forms being dimmer than their core. Plants are minimal, thin lines or dots of random color for things that are bigger like trees, flowers, bushes, fines, etc. Because of this, Kemuri is able to see emotional changes/shifts in people as they occur through a couple different ways of their aura shifting due to their emotional state:

Neutral: flat still color and form, no distortions or changes

Happiness: brightening of the person’s aura and a slight radiating glow beyond their normal figure

Passion: pulsations of the person’s aura, subtle at first growing stronger as the emotions grow stronger as well

Confidence: a slight expansion of the person’s aura out from their normal figure

Anxiety: gentle vibration of the person’s aura

Paranoia: the person’s aura distorting, bending, and swirling within their form

Sadness: a slight dimming around the edges of the person’s aura and it slightly shrinking into their overall form

Anger: the person’s aura flaring up and looking almost like the person is on fire in her eyes

These different changes can mix to show more complex things, if someone is not feeling one way or another exclusively.

Semblance: Smith’s Blessing

Gotin’s Semblance is a unique one, not only among their family, but among Remnant. Manifesting during a moment when he was younger, playing with his friend Kemuri, the two were attacked by a Beowolf. Picking up a stick in a vain attempt to fight it off to protect the Qilin, when he struck the beast, it suddenly resulted in the creature’s head being crushed in a single blow right as the stick snapped. Looking to the broken wood, Gotin saw the glow of his Alloy Orange aura coating it, but slowly fading. Wanting to try it again, he picked a stone and, after a moment of concentration, threw it at a tree. The rock tore right through the thick trunk and out the other side.

Smith’s Blessing allows Gotin to enchant any inanimate object with a mass variety of bonuses, expending some of his own Aura to do so. The amount varying on how big of an enchantment, and how many times he enchants one thing.

Gotin’s Aura is expended to place the enchantment, but then the item only needs to be held and/or worn by anyone with Aura to allow the enchantment to be used. 

Certain enchantments however are always active, and are simply manipulated by someone wearing or using the item.

A Glock 17 handgun with an enchanted frame and magazine. 

The frame enchanted with a reduction to kick-back from firing to allow for more accurate, rapid shots.

The magazine to allow the user to generate ammunition via their own Aura. Thus allowing bullets of concentrated aura to be fired, 

These rounds are able to penetrate the protective Aura of other living beings and highly effective against the creatures of Grimm.
