I made this video today for a song demo that I also made today. Why? Because I felt like it.
From my video-making blog.
Just temporary... But for how long??
Sadie and the 8P.
Or as she knows it: "the large flat warm area by the window."
The future sound of yesterday.

Kind of thinking I might do a few covers for a new release later this summer. If I can figure out how to do that.
A couple of old tracks, a couple of new. Possibilities include:
OMD
Psychadelic Furs
Sun Airway
Billy Idol
My latest release: Four synthrock / synthpop tracks.
Listen and download for free from Bandcamp.com.

Something new...
Found this one in the dusty attic of my hard drive. I don't want to say how old this is, but I will tell you it's double digits.
Man, I used to make even slower and more minimal stuff than I do now.
A box of tapes with a few old favorites in it, including:
Indian Point (1984)
Jack of Hearts (1989)
The Golden Age (1992)
All of which are fake and that I am creating fake soundtracks for. This will be my next release, and it's coming soon.

MC-500
My favorite sequencer. Until I got my MPC. Still holds a place in my heart for the THWAK of those buttons. You cold go fast on this thing too; a little practice and its just as fast as using a mouse on a piano roll.
Starshine (2004)
Starshine
An album of melodic minimal songs about the ocean at night.
Written and recorded circa 2004.
This is part of my 'back catalog' I guess; music that I finished years ago but never did anything with. It sounds pretty rough to my ears but I still like it, so I thought I'd give it a proper Bandcamp release.
Free for download.

My current studio setup.
Further adventures in synthrock... synthpopish... stuff. I don't know.
My Ableton was acting dodgy when it came time to record guitar so I've tried to dial in a guitar-like synth patch.
I think I hit a few cool moments in here. And I learned a lot, like I do on every track.
Hope you enjoy!

I made a clubby/ new wave / dance remix of "The First Thing About Me" by the irrepressible Brad Sucks, from the album "Guess Who's a Mess".
A short synth/rock/dance track. Possible opener for my next EP.
