Ahmed is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Yusuf’s family to evacuate them from Gaza. Yusuf is in critical condition and needs to be evacuated from Gaza for medical treatment urgently. So far, they are at less than 15% of their goal.

I'm Omar from Gaza, 20 years old.

I had many goals for this new year. I was going to achieve my ambitions and succeed, but the war on Gaza stopped me from all these things I hoped for.

While students around the world go to universities and achieve their dreams and aspirations, I'm stuck because of the war.

I don't know what to do, I can't find joy.

Everything was destroyed, and my university was ruined.
