I wish atla went more into the idea of one element being bendable to two different benders. Like how Katara and Toph can bend mud. What if Zuko and Aang are able to bend hot gas or smoke together? Or Zuko and Toph bending lava-
Yes I know lava became an earthbending thing exclusive in LoK (which was a retcon tbh, cause we see avatar Szeto bend lava in a scene and chibi Zuko doing the same [and don't give me that "He's an avatar he can bend earth" cause the scenery clearly made it look like a firebending thing with him being a firebender avatar, the context of that scene showed previous avatars bending their original element]).
I still believe lava can be bendable to firebenders if they learn earth bending styles (like how Katara does with ice) which is funny because I think earthbenders will need water styles to bend lava. Personally I preferred if Lava stayed a firebending element or a dual bending element (cause earthbenders are too over-powered, they can even bend glass on top of metal). Firebenders bend energy, most energies out there produce heat so basically they bend heat and change temperature, and lava has a LOT of heat.
Personally I'd like to think Aang can bend sand too with airbending, just add air into it and you make a sand tornado. (He could also do it using earthbending but ya know...)
Ironically I can't think of an element that would be bendable to both water and air so far lmao
Based on the fact the movie showed us how easy Aang will switch on his team and girlfriend/wife if another airbender is involved, taking the latter's side (for no actual good reason other than "He's an airbender he understands me better" (a literal stranger still)
In a what if scenario where a female airbender shows up outta nowhere. How big are the chances of Aang considering either breaking up or cheating on Katara for her, since he's so hell bent on restoring his culture and people? Combined with the fact his culture is alien to monogamy relationships. (Combined with the fact he's also obvious af).
I just know he will make Katara feel miserable one way or another. Or worse, he still chooses Katara but the narrative plays it as unfortunate on his part and Katara has to feel sorry for just existing.

I saw a post mentioning how Southern Water tribe got nothing special compared to every other nations and even its counterpart from the North, and it made me realize how badly Katara (and Sokka to an extent) should have their own story be told where we explore SWT cause that place is HEAVILY underdeveloped (both in story but also as a culture and prospering tribe).
Compared to the NWT, SWT has a very small amount of people left and they literally just live in an ice circle with a big ice cubicle and some tents. Which yes you can blame it on the Fire Nation for bringing them close to extinction, the conflict is there but we never see anything about its resolve. Now I think there was a scene where we were shown how the tribe looked like before and after the war started, which is decent but still not on par with Nwt and I feel like both of them, (outside the war) are suffering from lack of development as an element and culture.
Swt before the war.
After the war.
Now in comparasion, Nwt got a nice infostructure build up and the water spirits...
But that's about it (and Swt got nothing, except for the recently discovered bloodbending that they do NOTHING with it). We did learn what some of the accessories they wear mean (like Katara's necklace) what clothes they wear and what they eat (which is not a hard guess given where they live). But other than that nothing major, like anything about their history? Their water avatars? Kuruk? (We don't even know from which tribe he came but I feel like it's Southern). Or why there are 2 Water tribes instead of a single one like the fire nation? Isn't there any history behind that? Did they get in a war?
In terms of population (even before the war) Swt population looked small too. That's not a bad thing but if you compare it to the air temple where both are small and enclosed culture, yet Air culture looks so wide and vast compared to to Swt. We don't get to see how the water Southerners used to live much prior to war, what traditions were they practicing that weren't just a means to survive? What were they doing in terms of politics, relations with other countries? What about their culture on spirits or bending styles? Did there used to be more spirits around besides Tui and La? Did Swt used to have their own spiritual marine animals? Speaking of, where are the regular animals too? All we saw are penguins and regular fish.
We never get to explore much from them (The entire book of water is gaang traveling the world and less about water tribe itself except the beginning and end, heck we learn more about the air temples here if anything). And what's worse is that B*yke don't even bother.
Yes we "see" (not really) that they actually develop later on (I didn't read the comics, these buildings look atrocious)
And in Korra Swt looks like this
But isn't this too fast and not to mention unrealistic?
Unless they got people from Nwt to live there or they fuked like rabbits, I don't see how they could reproduce so fast to fill this much space. Unless they got like 5-8 kids per family or more.
Also for a story, this isn't development, it's skipping and 0 fucks given.
In both of these images even if the buildings looks fancy, they got no identity. Nothing that says "Southern water tribe" about them. In the comics they look like modern western buildings.
Swt didn't develop with Katara or Sokka, heck why did it even develop? If the siblings were in charge then sure I'd imagine they'd be inspired by other cultures from their travels and would want to add more, not just rebuild new houses but actually create a vast culture and identity, but this ain't it. (Also I bet only Sokka would've got involved. Katara would've been too busy sitting around doing nothing as avatar's wife).
Swt development wasn't linear or progressive, we didn't start from point A to B, it just happened. And despite all, it still remains the least "developed" nation in terms of writing.
But imagine if Br*yke gave a fuck and Katara, Sokka and their father were let to travel the world properly, absorb knowledge, create influences and learn more about their own culture wherever there's any archives left, like history, past conflicts, relations with Nwt, struggles, challenges, trials and errors. Imagine if they were able to find more original water benders who probably migrated to other parts of the world to hide from Firebenders (seems more plausible to find more fishes than sky bisons). What if Katara would've been able to rise the next generation of original water benders back to her home? Much like Zuko with the dragon egg (I forgot if that was canon or not but still).
Idk, if you ask me we really needed a Katara story for this, if only the immature creators stopped thinking that "being the avatar's wife" was all the dEvElOpMeNt she needed. π
Some people may assume I hate Aang and in a sense, I kinda do. But it steams mostly from Br*ke projecting into him so much to the point I can't stand the character himself and the way he acts. Aang in better hands can have more depth than be a narcissist with a mommy complex, that is as long as Br*ke don't write him and he had good moments in Atla when it happened.
But from comics to Lok to movies to the leak, it's only been slop after slop after slop in terms of Aang's characterization. And Br*ke, two grown ass men who even after FREAKING 20 YEARS still remain the same pair of whiny bitches as they were when we were kids. (albeit I didn't watch atla as a kid but I'm still right). They're stagnant and haven't improved in any of their writing or just general social manners with their fan base which they still treat like trash and a cash crab. I've seen writers improve in months, I've seen skill gaps happening in this amount of time. Br*ke can never, they just can't ever let go of their immature fantasies and bullying their fanbase of 10 year olds whom have jobs and families now to look after and couldn't give less fucks.
The general opinion for this movie already seems to sour. I want to like Aang but that can only happen if I actually see him mature for once and not be Br*ke's marionette. Which will never happen, plus it's just fun to piss them off when I talk shit about Aang and Kataang because the extension to that is that I make fun of them and their stupid mommy fantasies.
If I could make myself a version of Aang, he will be a respectable adult who listens to his friends, puts them and his family first before his heritage, isn't glazed for being the avatar all the time, I'll even have other avatars call him out on his bullshit, fucks up because of his emotional immaturity and actually suffers consequences. Asks Katara and Zuko for opinion and guidance and would be married to Toph because she's the only one who's not gonna coddled him or excuse his shitty tantrums because of his "last airbender/avatar" victim card. The horrors, am I right? Just the most nightmarish things I can give to Br*ke. That or Kataang cheating fanfics.
Ok idk if this would be posted before or after the atla animated movie officially comes out (cause I already saw the leaked version). I didn't want to miss on fan content without context for the rest of the months. Chances are they may change the release date to come sooner due to the leak, I doubt people will be patient enough to wait whole 6 months from now, some may give in to temptation. The longer they wait the more money they lose.
But just in case, whatever I talk about would be put under the cut for spoilers for those who want to wait for the official release. Block the #avatar aang the last airbender tag or the #aatla tag. (Also, I ended up tearing Aang a new one in this cause he pissed me off). ‡οΈ
To be clear I haven't seen other avatar media outside atla, no comics, no live-action movies, no LoK but I'm aware of a good chunk of plot from LoK. Enough to know how predictable this movie would get the moment they introduced the spirit staff. There's things I like and dislike about the movie and I don't hold back on things I dislike. In no particular order I'll write my opinions down.
-I like the animation and effects, despite the fact I felt like it was overly fluid during fights. Just the clothes and the hair being more animated than the rest of the body does the charm for me. The lighting was nice but some of the features on characters faces is barely seen because of it, nose and mouth especially, these lines needed more definition when light hits the face.
-I like the character designs, Katara could've worked a different hair style tho, I feel like she's the only one who looks no different than when she was a child, I don't "see" the adult in her still, that could be due to the anime art style that I have an issue with (or you know, Br*ke being Br*ke about her).
-speaking of, the anime-fication of the faces doesn't do it for me. I know atla was inspired by anime since the og show but if there's one thing I dislike a lot about anime is the same face syndrome (and baby faces on adults). An issue they didn't had before but decided to make it one now? And no, the gaang "growing up" isn't an excuse for the way they draw these atrocious noses.
-It's too safe, why I don't feel the danger and high stakes of this movie? As I said, it's because it's predictable and I'll yap on this one.
I don't understand why they decided to pull a Zaheer 2.0 (with a side dish of Amon) as the main conflict for this movie instead of creating a new one from scratch. Was it faster this way? Easier? Either way, if they didn't feel like making something new then fine, but why chose Zaheer's conflict to copycat? That's literally the most pointless one to get out of LoK if they wanted to chose from there, and why's that? The goal of the movie revolves around a spirit magic wand that can give non-benders bending and the possibility of creating air-benders. My issue with that is it happened in LoK already, so it kills the element of surprise and the suspense. We know that's possible so no shocker there and we already know it will not work before the journey even begins, because it's still just Tenzin's family the only air-benders present in Korra's time.
So what's the point and what's left to be added that would make this journey any interesting if the end goal (to create air-benders) won't be reached anyways? What does the movie want us to take from this? Well my first thought would've been to know the grown up gaang's dynamics a lot better and what changed so far... only for that not to happen. If anything, everyone acts just like their younger selves but even more surface level and one sided. Zuko barely speaks and got his scar from Azula removed, why? Toph has a one liner she keeps repeating like a caricature of herself, Katara is babysitting Aang again, doesn't do anything outside playing mom (again). Sokka didn't change, at all, and Suki IS NOT EVEN THERE! Anyone else present? Iroh, Mai, Ty Lee, freaking Azula??? Nope, but we got cabbage man.
"That's because the focus of the movie was on Aang" (more like Aang and Zaheer 2.0- I forgot his name). Ok fine, so that means we learn something new about Aang right? A new challenge he has to overcome? Something connected to Korra? The republic city? How he found new sky bisons?.... yes and no. Yes he does learn a new air-bending trick for one scene (and he can't even use it without another air-bender :P). Yes he does overcome a new challenge.... the same one we assumed he overcame already when he was freaking twelve, his grief over the genocide. The one he had to move on from in order to open the chakra needed to unlock avatar state. Yeah apparently we retcon and revert back to the same ol' bullshit when we're creatively bankrupt. Republic city and anything on how they came up with that idea? What the 4 nation leaders thought of it? Any conflicts regarding it? The politics? Rebellions? Nope. Republic city just exists by the time Aang is a fresh young adult, which is like what from 12 to early 20's, 8-13 years? Not even Dubai was built in such a short time... But how does Aang find the sky bisons? ('cause that happens) He just does... at the very end of the movie, somehow he didn't look hard enough for any remaints of his culture he so desperately wants to revive and what we wasted this whole movie on (again), so it was nothing special.
Ok but we're still focusing on Aang himself for most of the movie, so any personality changes? Any maturity present? Nope and barely. 'cause why learn from past mistakes when we can just repeat them right? Aang wondering somewhere alone again? Check. His friends having to save him because of that? Check (twice). Him not listening to his friends or Katara? Check. "You guys don't understand me!" Check and by the way, to this day it's still stupid to assume your found family doesn't "understand you" just because their cultures weren't freaking genocided... EXCEPT 2 OF THEM DID ACTUALLY, SOKKA AND KATARA Y'ALL NOT GONNA SAY SMTH, HELO??? Not all of Southern water tribe was genocided like air nomands but this isn't trauma olimpycs and they were headed to that direction as well, Katara still had to look outside her homeland to even learn water-bending. Now I know Aang was 12 and emotionally sensible so it makes it excusable (not to me tho), but as an adult still thinking like this and pulling it as a victim card against arguments? He needs to stfu. Especially when he made this as a response to his friends ALMOST DYING BECAUSE OF HIM! Dare I say how childish it still sounds to pour your frustrations like this at people who had nothing to do with that? Like why even bring your friends along for this trip if they "DoN't UnDeRsTaNd YoU"? Outbursts like this are normal but not apologizing for them 3 times now (and who knows how many in between) it sure is a choice. For some reason Aang feels entitled to his friends being an outlet for his emotional weakness and takes their lives for granted. Too bad we can't excuse that on him "being only 12" anymore. In a good writing room at least Katara would've said something about that but we can't have that, god forbid we let Aang deal with the consequences of his actions that would actually help him grow the fuck up. Apologizing ain't cool enough for B*ryke's no.1 relatable doll and we all know what happened to Lin in LoK. Consequences for thee but not for me. (Also the Gaang does die in this movie because of him sfter that statement/argument, let that sink in).
And to pour salt on the wound, before starting the journey Zaheer 2.0 basically called Katara a weak water tribe girl because why not? (Of course Aang doesn't say jack shit about it, rather listen to him than his gf π). Let's just throw that in there real quick so she can prove him wrong by saying "yes I can π€" and call it a day. Was that sexism or racism? You name it. Also, still making sexist remarks in 2026? B*ryke go outside please, this is cheap, lazy and nonsensical, especially for the circumstances you created, dude literally had a woman avatar as his master. But what can I expect at this point, just look how they massacred Toph here and in LoK.
Aang's favoritism with Katara makes me roll my eyes. The whole gaang died (crazy I know) and he only screams for Katara whenever the gang is in danger... or literally dead. Buddy they exist too, I know she's your girlfriend but please, one of them is your future brother in law and they're all risking their lives/sacrifice time to aid with your search, mind you? Have some damn respect and fucks to give, geez.
Katara revives everyone and herself with the power of bullshit. I know she managed to save Aang from "almost dying/dead" in atla but she did it in a very short amount of time for his soul to not leave yet (but you know, it was really unclear. What other explanation can you give it tho?) so how long has it been since she revived the group to reviving Aang? It's off-screen of course, otherwise it just makes no sense, him waking up from the temple miles away to wherever the fuck with water (if it's the same place where gaang died, it's too far away).
Zaheer 2.0 getting more character development than the main cast that we actually came to see is annoying me. All these screenshots of the gaang from the movie? That's literally all you guys are getting out of it in terms of gaang. So unless you want to see how the hair moves, you don't get anything else from there.
Toph thirsting for Zaheer 2.0 despite the fact dude almost attacked her and has a vendetta against earth-benders... I'm sorry, when did Toph became a h*oe? Why'd she still do that after knowing he hates her? who the fuck wrote this bullshit 'cause that ain't my Toph! Also don't compare that to her fangirling over Zuko here, Zuko was already on the right path when it happened. Don't bring up LoK either, that was trash writing. Toph has more self-respect than this and being mistreated is something she hated since she was a child. Miss me with that bullshit.
Gaang is so one sided, Zuko and Toph may as well not be written at all, heck not even Katara and Sokka, all Katara did of significance was revive Aang (still bullshit) and be his emotional support gf which pisses me off 'cause why the fuck is she still playing mom to a grown ass man? Haven't I seen enough of that in atla already? Does this ship have anything of flavor or is this gonna stay a stagnant dynamic forever? And don't worry, the favor is not returned to Katara, it never is. One sided plot and one sided ship. The day I'll see Aang be the one to comfort Katara and support HER decisions and goals without inserting any of his "air-philosophy" bs on her, will be the day when Azula gets a redemption arc as good as Zuko's.
-Ok but I also mentioned that "side dish of Amon" right? So what's that about? Well you remember how Amon's thing was that non-benders are being oppressed by benders, which created the equalists and all that jazz? Welp, we got equalists 2.0 in this movie too, only more insignificant and boring.
But they still exist so what's their point? Their point is... to start the main conflict, that's about it. They appear at the beggining, a bit in the middle and at the end but only as an extention of the main conflict started by Zaheer 2.0. They have no identity, I don't even remember their names. They claim "oppression and mistreatment from benders" with no explanation, no backstory, no specifications, no nothing. They're just there and do stuff because yes. Oh and they attack the avatar for some reason too. Why? Glad you asked, moving on.
Ok but actually they did it because they were searching for the map to the location of that magic wand/staff in the air temple. How do these guys know about it? Who the fuck knows and cares, we gotta start this bullshit with something I guess.
Why didn't any air-bender avatars mention this info to Aang when air nomands are LITERALLY EXTINCT AND COULD USE SUCH A STAFF RIGHT ABOUT NOW? Who knows, that map was randomly sitting nice and cozy in the air temple all these years, not hidden behind a secret room or behind some puzzle like chest, somehow Aang never found it...
Also, if it took Aang going back literal centuries in the avatar state to find one avatar who knows even a bit of info regarding this staff and it's creator (another avatar)... how did these random hooligans know so much about it, long ass centuries information that literally no one knows.
Nonsense aside, I'm actually dissapointed. If there was one main conflict from Korra they could've rewrite better, it was the equalists. Everything else was fine (as fine as B*yke can manage on their own). The equalists were an interesting idea on paper executed poorly, a conflict between benders and non-benders is something that was never touched properly upon but it makes so much sense to exist out there. Imagine a what if scenario where this was the main conflict. We'd still have a journey, a group of antagonists showing the power imbalence between benders and non-benders trough each of their experience, the gaang dealing with that issue in their respective nations. Sokka and Suki's role in this as non-benders of team avatar. Could even be one of the reasons why Aang and Zuko decided to build Republic city in the first place. Literally shooting two birds with one stone. Tell me this doesn't sound more compelling than copy-pasted plots and retcons? Come on.
Extra things that annoyed me: making fun of Zutara again. Can it be a br*ke story without a jab at Zutara? Definitely not.
-Zuko's lightning scar being erased. (To erease Zutara of course).
-Old man Zuko being portrayed as weak and frail... as if he wasn't the only gaang member still kicking ass at this exact age in LoK. Again miss me with your bullshit B*yke.
Katara : [Disappointed.] Wow... there's hardly any in here.
Aang : [Lashes out.] I'm sorry, okay! It's a desert cloud; I did all I could! What's anyone else doing?! [Pointing his staff at Katara.] What areΒ youΒ doingβ?!
She returns his attack with a shocked look on her face.
Katara : Trying to keep everyone together. Let's just get moving. We need to head this direction.
This is the frustration Aang over Appa's missing when confronting Katara ~ pointing at her face with his glider, like she all wrong for not doing enough.
Did Katara do something wrong? β
Was Katara responsible for Appa's missing? β
Did Katara just want to help him - and others - to survive? β
Aang : [Turns back to Sokka; losing his temper.] This isn't a joke, Sokka! None of you understand the position I'm in.
Katara : Aang, we do understand. It's just...
Aang : Just what, Katara? What?
Katara : We're trying to help!
Aang : Then, when you figure out a way for me to beat the Fire Lord without taking his life, I'd love to hear it! [Walks away.]
This is the frustration Aang over his responsibility as the avatar ~ pointing at her face, almost like she all wrong for not helping enough.
Did Katara do something wrong β
Did Katara make a joke about his responsibility to end the Fire Lord like the others? β
Did Katara even laugh when the others make a joke about his responsibility to end the Fire Lord? β
Did Katara just want to help him? β
Maybe it could be corrected with, "Katara deserved better" and she ended up with someone who always blamed her when he was frustrated.
And yes, I've written about this a few times and still bitter about it.
Can I say how much this moment in the show pissed me off? I'm sure it would've pissed me off as a kid too. I always hated the way Aang's fans excused this as a "He's only 12, doesn't know any better" or even justified this reaction the same way he himself does with the whole "I'm the last airbender/avatar you don't get me" despite the fact Katara is the last waterbender of her tribe as well (even more of a reason to dislike kataang if you ask me). But his position that he put himself into, mind you, REQUIRES him to know better, regardless of his age. He lost the chance at having a decent childhood the moment he ran away from his avatar responsibilities, he shouldn't be picky about how he handles the fire lord situation but he is. Yet he blames his friends for that instead of himself, he blames them for Appa disappearing despite ultimately that being his fault (that he doesn't admit to) and the way he "apologized" for this is him basically saying "I've made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment" instead of actually apologizing for being a dick to his friends, for how he acted. Never tries to make up for it like idk, at least tell them it won't happen again? (it happened again btw, in the movie).
Sorry not sorry but the age limit I'm willing to excuse a kid for they're fuck ups is 8 or 9 at most, from that point you should already try to be self-aware of you actions but Aang isn't, heck he's not even aware of it as an adult either, willingly gambling his friends lives (important lives too) in hopes of finding a magic stick, he never considers the consequences of that happening. Imagine if Zuko just died right there when they were finally making progress with the fire nation. Aang has always been a selfish narcissist and still is, all his monk teachings are never fully applied to himself, but always to others when he finds an inconvenience. Idk how y'all think this would've paired well with "I take no bullshit from you" Katara unless you turned her into a surface level caricature of herself without opinions (like in the movie, again).
The reason I rather prefer Zutara (or Harutara but mainly Zutara) is for the simple fact that Katara is more authentic around Zuko. After Aang gave her the "last airbender" victim card again in the movie, I expected her reacting to that the same way she did to Zuko after the betrayal, or close to it. Because Aang did put her life and her friends lives in danger and he tried making up excuses for THAT. Nevermind the fact Katara also suffered from a genocide SHE ACTUALLY WITNESSED (unlike Aang). I would never stand this bald ass brat.

I'm getting the feeling the leak of the WHOLE atla movie must've been an inside job. An outsider can't possibly just leak literally all of it like that right? Did they had a shitty password or smth? Of course all of what I'm saying is just speculation until further proof, just trying to make sense of the situation.
Also if the movie was already done, why wait 6 whole months to put it out? Hasn't this movie been announced since 2021? Heck, Paramount even delayed it from 2025. If it was so they can market it in anticipation and expectation, why was the marketing so shitty till now? Correct me if I'm wrong but prior to the movie leak, the only way fans found out about how the gaang's adult designs even looked like was through a bunch of t-shirts selling (why even sell products before the movie is out?) Everyone assumed it was fan-made. Why wait so long if the movie was done god knows how long ago?
Also for me, piracy depends on the context whether it is ok or not to do it. Is it ok the movie was leaked? I can't say for sure. On one hand people say animators and voice actors would suffer because of this. That depends, they're still paid during production as far as I'm aware (in peanuts of course, va's tend to be paid more tho). As for when the product does sell? Who knows. The underpaid situation for animators hasn't changed even for big billion corpos that can afford to pay them a decent price just fine regardless if the movie sells good or not. So there's no way knowing if the sells money would've even gone to the animators a fair amount. Most of it usually goes to the corpo.
That's not to say animators won't still suffer from it but I can see how the mistreatment was already there. The stupid marketing, waiting freaking 6 more months (4-5 years in advance) till they can actually get sells money. Paramount refusing to put the movie in theaters that would've gotten them more money and reach? Yep that's also a thing. The stupid management was there but at a certain point I have to assume it looks like a sabotage ngl.
Edit: apparently they also didn't pay some artists who made posters for them because of the leak WHICH WAS THEIR FAULT!??
And in a period where we have WAY too many streaming services, who the fuck has paramount+? Not to mention it's not even available in all the countries (mine included) so... many of you guys will still have to pirate it anyways. But even if it was in my country, I'm still not paying a subscription for that shit.
Just my two cents, I have a feeling someone on the working team went "you know what? Fuck it" and just leaked the movie right away. If they can't get paid, the corpo won't either. Or it could be just paramount being morons, who knows. Of course this is still just theory and assumption, I'm neutral to the whole thing but the long waiting wasn't worth regardless and it still isn't.
I'm sure fans will continue supporting the animators tho, rather give them money directly if I'm being honest cause Paramount won't.
Hey @tumblr @staff, can I ask why every time I click 'save' on a draft I edit, it post publicly??? Why is that?
Last I checked I didn't have to specify 'save in drafts' every time I edited, when it was already in drafts. I "accidentally" made 2 public posts when I tried to edit my drafts 'cause I assumed it would save as a draft! Why is 'posting now' the default and not an option anymore? It literally says 'save' not 'post now'!!!

On one hand I do feel sorry for Caine getting deleted but on the other, he did get a taste of his own medicine (if he'll ever remember). After all he keeps deleting and re-coding NPC's left and right once he doesn't need them or they get too smart. He deleted Gumigoo and Abel without a care in the world as confetti popped up from their bodies. So in a sense what Caine gets at the end of ep.8 is just Karma at her job. He finally gets treated like how he treats all his NPCs, he gets deleted without a warning and with no say in the matter, just mere seconds to process and realize what's gonna happen, nobody will wait just like he never waited for others, not even confetti pops up. That's how all the NPC/AI are treated and he was never an exception, just lucky enough that nobody got the chance to do it till now, this is something that he should've gotten years ago, ever since he showed defects in his coding (this would be his first time ever getting deleted too, something he never experienced before).
I think there was a chance that Abel's coding (blue dot) would've gotten copied to Caine to fix him without Caine having to force another "consciousness" into him that fucks up with his mind, that's why I assume the programers didn't deleted/gave up on him just yet, otherwise I don't see why they'd still keep him around. But Caine was greedy and impatient, he wanted it all and gave nothing of the same worth in return.
He was never a god, just a child who was coddled and spoiled too much and never got a proper punishment for his fuck ups. He could've gotten deleted the second he was inefficient just like he does to others all the time but he was sent to the cellar instead to wait till humans figured out what to do with him. Aka he was sent to his room instead of getting an ass whooping.
