Check out this kickstarter for a printed version of Sokyo X by Cory Tran! It’s an action sci-fi comic inspired by manga and action games!

Cory and I have been making comics under the Planet Land banner for a long time and this is the first printed project. I’ve read Sokyo X and it has really cool action with a great story to back it up.

You can see the hard work and passion that Cory has put into this project. It’s been great to see his progress from first seeing his work on the gingerbox forums and through our other webcomic projects.

Tried to colour using the copic colour palette in clip studio and a marker brush. Bit messy, but enjoyed trying to recreate a Jump colour chapter vibe.

Sokyo X Chapter 3 is out!!!

The Sci-Fi FPS Action Epic is at it's midpoint! Chapter's 1-3 are half of the 6 part epic, so I've bundled them at my shop! ❤

Sokyo X follows ace mech pilot Senshiro and his squad as they battle the on-planet rebels. It's a heavy action series, with a tight ensemble, that fuses FPS's like Halo and Titanfall with manga like Appleseed, Biomega, Akira, and Gundam!

If that sounds even remotely interesting, I highly recommend you read the first chapter (which is online here)!
