The daycare felt eerie in the dark, had she been more awake, she would have also felt uncomfortable, uneasy, at the silence. How could Moon move without making a sound? Sunny was a noisy little rascal that jingled everytime he moved. But so far, silence. She wondered briefly if Moon left the daycare, drawing nearer to the ballpit.
Tiny had been about to feel for the edge of the pit with the back of her heel while she tried to check for Moons location in the play structures, when something leapt up from behind her, the sound of the plastic balls breaking the fragile eerie silence that had settled over the daycare. She let out a startled cry in surprise, tensing up upon being grabbed.
She'd read stories of animatronics at Fazbear Entertainment crushing people and biting and killin-
Her breath was squeezed from her lungs as adrenaline shot through her veins, giving her a temporary and ultimately useless boost of energy. Tiny froze in place at the quiet voice in her ear, stilling her struggling breaths as if to pretend Moon didn't actually grab her but a doll of some sort. It wouldn't work of course, but her mind was terrified and wasn't thinking the most clearly.
Oh shit she was gonna die.
She lost her grip on the flashlight in her hand, cursing herself silently for dropping it. The assistant tried to squirm, frightened and confused. Moons cool metal faceplate against her neck, almost as if instead of a death squeeze, it was more of an intimate embrace between close personal friends, or even lovers.
Her face became hot at the mere thought.
Before she could scold herself any further, she was pulled from her thoughts by the feeling of her feet leaving the floor. She didn't have time to think of horrible places Moon might take her to kill her when she was
Confused, she patted the hard plastic of the play structure floor she was sitting on. And she was... alone?
Tiny turned her head, trying to see if Moondrop was watching or sitting nearby or something but he was just gone, again? This one was creepy, she had to admit, the way he moved in silence and disappeared seamlessly into the dark.
The blonde woman bit her lip, conflicted on what to do. She could attempt to escape the play structure, but she's only ever been in these once and that was with Sunnys help. A kid had vomited in a tube and she needed help getting to it. Her sense of direction was notoriously poor. She was still mulling it over when Moon seemingly materialized again, this time with...
Where'd he even get those? She didn't know the daycare had pillows and blankets. But then again she didn't explore much and typically stuck to her job description, helping Sunny when he needed it.
She watched in bewilderment as this scary animatronic began to arrange everything on the floor. Right now, he seemed harmless? He was built for kids after all. At least he wasn't trying to crush her ribs anymore.
She let out a little "uwah!" When she was grabbed once again. Mentally she made a note to scold both Sun and Moon for their blatant disregard of just snatching people.
The blanket she had be draped in was quite soft, and the pillow wasn't half bad either. Before confusion set in on the fact that Moon didn't kill her, her brain seemed to realize what she was doing. She was laying down. In a makeshift bed. It was game over. Tiny tried to stay awake, rubbing her eyes harshly each time they drooped even a little, but soon it became impossible to keep them open.
Just before she lost the battle against her disability and succumbed to restless sleep, she managed to reach up and tap Moons nose.
Her hand dropped to her chest as her eyes finally shut, forced into a dreamless sleep. Her breathing evened out, and her body relaxed.
