#i’ve cut ties with my family #almost one month ago #there is a lot of grief and loneliness #there is frustration when ppl i consider close to me make it a ‘fun fact’ about me #there is pain when i think of how closely connected my every day life (maybe even my being) is to my family #when i talk to strangers about it i brush off all these feelings #but i still cry to myself and ache to contact them again knowing it would do no good at this point #i think with school being over i’m forced to deal with the ramifications of it all #financially #emotionally #and in whatever other forms the grief seeps into #it’s hard to not feel like this is a loss of my own personhood #i feel like now i’m just fighting to survive for the sake of surviving #sigh #bee rambles #bee is so so tired #i miss my gf #i miss everyone

#navigating losing my entire family amongst an accelerated curriculum which is Already baseline fast paced is so interesting /lh #in all seriousness i fear im slowly realizing the weight of how.. incredibly Unsustainable the relationship i have with my family is #esp given how ive been like literally.. slacking off on classes to the point of getting lower grades (mind u i think i ended off frshman yr #w a 3.96)#so..#trying to be kind and js move thru all moods with grace but chat it is Hard.#oh to deal with having no family while surrounded by people who do is so. like. disorienting #esp when ppl r like ‘yeah i wouldnt care if i was disowned’ but still say ily to their moms and cry over their parents like #chat i dont think ur being truly honest here.. and its not only unfair to you but it is to me ? bc like.. be so fr this is such a big. thing #looking into getting a depression diagnosis and Mayb meds tho so pray for me #currently struggling tho.. how does one communicate the loss of financial #familial #and cultural support #to their professors ??#blegh vent post bc im lowk losing my mind with how crazy everything is
