Hi everyone!

There’s a new comic available for you to create during Spooky Con. It features suspense, political intrigue, treason, and lots of fishes.

It’s also the last comic planned for the game for now, so that’s another piece of news: finally ALL comics are available! Go ahead and be a completionist!

We were going to share this a week or so after releasing "Monster Con" (oopsies). Since a year has passed, let's open it to any Monster Prom game!

It must be a piece depicting characters from any Monster Prom game.

We'll reblog our favorite pieces and send a prize to the artists. Since it tends to be the most requested thing: we'll go for the KS-exclusive playable character DLC pack for "Monster Camp".

We commit to sharing/rewarding at least one piece; but aiming for more 👀

If you're participating, please have DMs open so we can DM you the prize (ugh, honestly we're so out of this place that we wonder if DMs still work the same. Fingers crossed!)

We commissioned the talented @zappeboy to design some Monster Prom-themed tattoos.

We commissioned it in a way he allows for anyone who wants to get any of the designs as a tattoo.

If you’re in Barcelona, he can tattoo it to you himself!

Has someone made the poor life choice of marking their skin forever with some Monster Prom stuff?

We just released a KS update covering our recent exploration of new projects (expanding on what we've already shared on our Discord server & website).

We've finished our "year of exploration", in which we allow ourselves to explore multiple ideas.

Essentially, after releasing a project we go into a full year in which we avoid going "all in" with the next project, and instead we explore several other things.

This time we did the same as last time (between Monster Roadtrip and Monster Con, back then): developing other IPs.

The amazing thing (which we cover in the update) is that last time the full year concluded in a series of (cool) pitch decks for some game ideas.

This time? We did MUCH MORE.

We started with several game ideas and, as we developed them, we "froze" some of them.

The idea? To slowly but steadily reduce the number of ideas being explored, going further on the remaining ones.

This time we hit an amazing flow, in which working on more than one idea helped us staying motivated and refreshed.

This not only led to better exploring new ideas: we also have worked on Monster Prom 5 more than initially expected (for the same reason: constant movement allowed us to stay motivated).

So, which ideas are the last remaining ones?

Of course, above all: Monster Prom 5.

Last month we finished an internal demo to test ourselves.

And then we have 2 variations on the same game formula (based on games like Va-11 Hall-A or Coffee Talk): one with souls-like vibes and one with clowns.

On top of that we're also exploring a game idea that works quite similarly to Monster Prom (dating sim with several ROs), "Zodiac Thirst".

Now we'll prepare specific plans to go "all in" on Monster Prom 5, and most likely on at least one of the other ideas.

We're so excited!

Still, it's quite soon! Expect several months till the first "Monster Prom 5" teaser drops.

This was the update all along. It wasn't even supposed to be an April Fools' thing or whatever. But it was next in line and we though it'd be silly and fitting to reveal it through a bit of shenanigans.

Finally: in the following weeks we should release some new merch. It might be the first of two waves.

Ugh, final attempt. We think we got it right this time. I mean, you just gotta read this piece of feedback:

“Nah, buff Liam was already a good direction. Muscles are nice. It’s just… he wasn’t enough of a horse. Just centaurify Liam and call it a day”.

After further analysis, we've seen many of you yearning for good ol' twink Liam.

It's evident with feedback like:

"OG twink Liam was almost perfect already. Maybe the outfit could be improved? Like, it could be 30% more cat."

APRIL UPDATE!

If you've been playing Monster Con lately, you may have have noticed we've implemented a couple of changes as part of our April update.

During the first week, we made a very, very slight change that was only noticeable by our sharpest-eyed players. Let's see if you can notice it in the first two images.

Still, we felt the change was too subtle, so for this past week we implemented another change. We wanted to please some of the players who were demanding and "being squished between the strong arms of a purple hunk" and "moar muscles".
