RP - As an artist who has inhabited New York for the entire twenty three years of his existence, I can tell you from experience that our great city is as segregated as possible. Resembling the urban equivalent of a high school cafeteria, culture is broken into sub-sections, and if you don’t fit completely into the mold, you’re not allowed to sit at the table. The Low Culture Labs will set out to be the antithesis of New York’s cafeteria dynamic. Our message to every young artist in the city who feels out of place and ostracized is “you can sit with us, you can create with us, you can grow with us". The lab has the mission of bringing forth imaginative and spiritual change though the act of collaborative and casual creation.
