That’s a very good question, to be fair I find white hair (and anything white/fair/pale in general tbh) to be very tricky to render, in fact it took me a really long time, before dmc darker skin tones and hair colors were actually my comfort zone so it took a lot of trial and error to learn how to paint the Spardas in a way that looked good to me, and if anything I feel like only just recently got the hang of it!!

The biggest thing at least in my experience, is to never deal in absolute colors, no true whites or blacks - white hair usually tends either more beige-ish or blue-ish depending on tone, lighting etc. actually a lot of time the colors I end up picking are a muted beige for the base/shadow color, and a light desaturated pink for the highlight color! For that latest V portrait I did, specifically, I chose a more saturated lilac for the highlights (at least by comparison).

The thing that darker hair and skin have that pale colors don’t is the depth of tones, you can have a very wide range of shades from the darkest to the lightest, so the best way to approach light hair is by applying that same logic and having a wide range from the darkest shadow to the lightest highlight.
