It’s awful not being able to tell anyone things right now. I’ll figure it out eventually, though. Even if Theo does end up finding out before he’s supposed to, it’s Theo. Probably the most understanding person I’ve ever met, next to Conner.

Mine’s sort of.. Complicated. And I’ve been trying to hide it from Theo and Conner. Easier said than done when you’re a Candor stuck in the same school as them.

Oh, then don't tell me. Theo can sense when I know things, and even if he doesn't ask, I'll feel obliged to tell him because of that darn soulful stare.

If you did, he should appreciate the honesty. We are Candor, after all. I mean, of course his feelings are going to be hurt. Jonathon has always liked you, but continuing to see him when you’re emotionally involved with someone else would be deception.  Not to mention more painful if he found out any other way. Don’t worry too much. Let him have some time to recover and do whatever makes you happy. You can’t please everyone.
