Don’t like banana peels? No problem!!

Dec 18 - Later Phuket! Off to Chiang Mai, few hour bus ride to the airport, flight at 7:20pm. Air Asia flight has ZERO legroom, unless you pay extra for the emergency rows with the extra legroom. At least it wasn’t a full flight so we were able to spread out a bit. Score! Short flight, less than two hours. Cheap cab to our hostel and a short exploring for pad Thai for Brent. Early night!

Dec 17 - Quiet day, hung out with some folks from USA, Britain, and kept it pretty chill. Flight tomorrow!

Dec 14 cont’d - Survived the bus ride to the depot, and split a cab with two other girls into Patong beach. First pic shows how our backpacks had slid all over the place with crazy driver hah. Made it to Fin Co working hostel at Kata beach (further south than Patong, much nicer area and less busy). Dorm rooms have double bed bunk beds! Pretty cool place, minus the three story trek up the steps. Hung out with the other hostel folks and made a beer Xmas tree! Yay! Dec 15 - Just walked around a bit, Checked out the beach, looaaaddds of people out! Forgot to take pics though. Had some pizza and Brent got to meet a slow Lorax 😊 Also was pouring this evening so didn’t leave the hostel at night.
