They’ve been keeping their relationship a secret since Nanami came back to sorcery. Gojo jokingly mentions how funny it would be to just start being affectionate in public and not tell anyone they’re dating.

Even if it is a “joke” Nanami knows it’s actually Gojo asking to go public in his own quirky way. Nanami kisses him on the cheek and assures Gojo that he’d follow his lead. His little blush is so worth it!

A week later Gojo is getting ready to leave for a mission after a meeting with the higher ups. He catches Nanami on the training fields with the first years, slides up next to him placing a hand on Nanami’s waist.

“I won’t be home tonight Kento,” his voice is obnoxiously loud, “don’t wait up, ‘kay?”

He plants a wet kiss to Nanami cheeks and his metaphorical tail starts wagging at the blush that paints them. He looks over at the kids, each of them with varying degrees of shock. Megumi looks scared with wide eyes, Yuji has taken on the shocked pikachu meme, and Nobara is stammering out something but Gojo’s attention is back on Nanami.

The kids voices fade into the background. Nanami has that slight pout, so minuscule, that he gives when he wants a kiss. Gojo loves to indulge his boyfriend. Gently, he presses his lips against Nanami’s.

“Come back to me in one piece, alright Satoru?”

His grin gets impossibly wider, his tail wags harder, and he wants to stomp his foot and declare he’s not going anymore just to spend more time in Nanami’s arms. All those emotions fizz up inside him, they need to go somewhere.

Overwhelmed Gojo licks Nanami cheek listening to him choke on confusion.

He excitedly waves bye to the still fumbling kids. It looks like they’re rushing over to catch him before he goes but ultimately they’re too slow and Gojo warps away.

Gojo quits sorcerery but doesn't stop working with the kids. (imo in this "good" end, Gojo makes a binding vow to 'give up' the Six Eyes in order to save his kids but sitll takes the brunt of the WCS damage). He still teaches them and shows them what he can. I imagine after everything, in the absence of being overstimulated, he's under stimulated. There's always something missing until he sees his husband.

Kento also quits, as much as he wants to keep helping, he can't. In his version, he did get burnt by Jogo but stays passed out for longer, so Mahito doesn't happen--with the caveat of him loosing his arm and scarring on the burned side(so nerve damage!).

And they take care of each other! In th aftermath both of them are in comas(either medically induced or otherwise), but Gojo wakes up first. He wakes up and the first thing he does before he's even cleared to get up is ask where Nanami is. In the days that come before Nanami's awakening, Gojo spends them by his bedside, talking to him and bringing his favorite breads to "share"(he likes to think nanami eats them in spirirt).

They both grieve the part of themselves they lost. Gojo has a hard time walking due to the WCS causing some spinal injuries. Nanami opts to not have a prosthetic fitted, there wasn't much left to attach it on(shoulder disarticulation) but has a hard time adjusting to.. everything.

But they manage.

After so long of Gojo having to take care(or more accurately not doing so) of himself for so long Nanami notices all the times he comes home tired. Has a warm meal at home whenever possible, providing acts of kindness and silent affection since he isn't really the most vocally articulate with his feelings. Gojo also helps out where he can! He cuts veggies for him and more often then not finds himself buttoning Nanami's shirts for him
