“sounds like an odd situation, love.” not quite sure how to console the young girl. though rosie smiled, hoping to give off a more positive vibe. “what do you reckon is goin’ on then?”

brokenhartsx:

“The show, I presume, isn’t live. It’s filmed in advance so that’s how you can be here and still be on the screen. You do know how TV works right?”

“I know that, I just meant why does the blonde in the show look exactly like me?”

“perhaps it’s the same situation as with you. you all look alike but it isn’t really you or riley?”

“maybe you’re right, maybe this was all just one big misunderstanding.”

brokenhartsx:

“Hey, calm down.” Diana’s voice was soft as she approached the blonde  near her. “I am sure that the person on TV just looks like you out of coincidence.”

brokenhartsx:

“Well I guess you should just call your friends then, see if they have found themselves on tv as well and see if they know more. Or, you know, google yourself. Maybe that will give you an insight.”

“I honestly wish it was that easy, but my phone doesn’t want to work.”

Heather looks at the girl strangely, that was actually a good question. Unless the girl was a really, really good actress though she doubted it. No one could look that genuinely confused, no one could fake that look on her face. Heather went over and turned off the television. It had been a program she’d been watching, but well….now she didn’t feel much like watching anymore. 

“ Um…I think it has to do with, why everyone is here or something, I’m not sure I mean. It probably doesn’t mean anything.” Said Heather, trying and possibly failing to be comforting.

“Did you see yourself on TV too?” Maya asked the older girl as she then turned to face her.

             ‘ what was it about my reply that made you believe i was interested in having a conversation with you? was it my laugh? did my laugh throw you off? i could care less about your WOE IS ME issues, sally draper. you were on a television show: CONGRATULATIONS. but now you’re in new york city   and   considering your obnoxious confusion are clearly addicted to heroin!! so if you want to brag about how you and your bff had   (( five seconds of fame ))   on disney channel, do it to someone else. ’

                                    ❝that’s odd. i heard that some people, well, it happened to them, i’m not sure. that just a tv show or at least that’s how it seems, i’ve never watched that before❞

“from what i figured out, it’s just parallel universes. it’s happened in my world before.” then again, her world is a lot stranger than most. “i haven’t seen myself yet.” charlie turned to the young girl. “you’ll find new york to be very strange. we should find stephen strange and ask him about it.” the red head turned back to the tv. “i wonder what actor me is like. she’s probably a badass.”

“parallel universe, what?” maya scratched her head. “that’s a good thing, it’s..weird.” maya replied, a bit hesitant. “i don’t think he’d know the answer.” maya laughs a little.

“innit that you, love? suppose ya should know that there are those things called DOPPELGANGERS? ya could be one? ‘cept not sure if all that looks familiar to ya?”

“maybe it’s not actually you. it must be some mistake!”

"yeah, i guess you’re right, but i could have sworn that the brunette next to her looks exactly like my best friend riley.”

“I meant that it may be a couple weeks old, maybe one of your friends wanted to prank you with this. Though you aren’t exactly doing anything embarrassing. Having any long lost sister?”

“Oh, that makes more sense. I don’t think so, otherwise my mom would have told me.”

jess kept looking between the female in front of her and then the screen. “are you… are you an actress or something like that? or in some kinda thing like this?”

“no, no, i’m not, i’ve never acted a day in my life.” maya told the older girl, still not believing what she’s seeing.

brokenhartsx:

“probably one of your… topplegangs. that’s what my friend wendy called them. they’re people who look like you, but they’re not you.” she clapped her hands, a smile on her face. man, she missed seeing herself on tv. “isn’t it fun to see your face on tv? the camera loves you, btw.”

“but they’ve said my name like 20 times in this, there’s no way that this isn’t me.” maya replied, pacing around the room. “no, it’s not fun! not after i find out that i’m actually a fictional character played by some well-known celebrity!”

“hm?” he perked up ( just slightly ) upon being addressed, tired eyes shifting to stare blankly at the mentioned. roger squinted briefly at it for a moment, before looking back to the young girl. “maybe you’re a celebrity, or somethin’. you know anyone else here? maybe it’s a joke.”

Lydia looked first at the girl next to her then at the tv on the wall. “Maybe someone pranked you. Like a hidden camera thing. When did that happen?” She asked, nodding towards the tv screen.

“No, I don’t think that’s it, all of my friends are back home.” Maya told the older girl, not looking away from the tv. “It said this episode is from last Friday.”
