2014 Broken Arts Music Awards.

Announcing the 2014 Broken Arts Music Awards! Traditionally, voting for the BAMAs has run throughout December and the winners have been announced in January. This year, we're doing things a little bit differently. From now until January 16th, we will ask for YOUR nominations for each award category. From the nominees, we will create a shortlist based on those with the highest amount of nominations. Voting on this shortlist will last until February 13th, and will be announced at our February Soundtracked show, right in the middle of awards season! In order to be nominated, the nominee in question must be active within Durham Region and must have a physical presence there (a member of the band lives there, for example). Voting begins now! Attention all who love music and good causes! Every year Broken Arts hosts a charity show over the holiday season. This year, all proceeds from our charity show will go toward the Denise House, an emergency shelter for abused women and their children.
