in a way, like. if it was truly just 25 minutes of showa covers and nothing else i think i couldve appreciated it as some absurd truman show-esque bit to cap off the season, if not the franchise. chibita leaving marks the status quo as irreparably changed from the original setting. a true final roll credits so final it can't help but spillover into nonsensical and absurd. like i think i could've appreciate it as an art form if it were the case. but it clearly fishing for fanservice, referencing old bits from when osomatsu-san was beloved, spoils that premise and makes it kind of grotesque in its meta. i don't think i can comment on the quality of the episode but i can tell you it made me very sad and embarrassed to watch
