• Eivor is female, while Havi/Odin is male.

• Eivor and Havi/Odin are not the same person. Havi is Odin’s Isu consciousness/imprint that exists within Eivor’s genetic memories.

• Havi/Odin used the Isu reincarnation process to survive, but instead of being reborn as himself, his memory imprint carried into Eivor’s DNA, where it exists as a separate consciousness layered over her own.

• The Animus lets you choose because It was detecting two overlapping consciousnesses within the same genetic memory stream, not because it cannot identify sex.

• Havi/Odin is consistently portrayed as a separate mental presence who speaks to and interacts with Eivor throughout the game.

• Even in sequences with Havi/Odin, characters still use feminine pronouns because Eivor remains female beneath Odin’s/Havi's imprint.

• Ubisoft has confirmed all of this. Interpretations are fine, but they shouldn’t be presented as fact or used to disregard the lore that’s already been established. This matters given how rare female protagonists are in major game series.

Mind you this is my third playthrough but when I saw Eivor lifting up Aethelswith in the water I just lost it! The atmosphere was just too perfect this time around for my brain not to unlock a moonlight river/swamp kidnapp fantasy! 🥹🐎 🌑 It is giving Shrek vibes a little but I'm still into it lol. (Sidenote: I was hoping Eivor could smack Aethelswith while on horseback like in RDR2 since she did spit on her. Like I know you're being kidnapped but no spitting please its unnecessary 😂)
